  1. Joe. You asked if they are reasonable on fuel. No they are not. LOL but who cares. :D
  2. I agree with you on the looks but the performance is not how Nissan wanted it. It was restricted heavily by laws. CAT pipes restrict the breathing, the turbos are only working at 60% of its maximum save performance, the airfilter is paper for economy for the owner. All these things doing increase the performance but releases the performance which is held back by laws. :D Stuart
  3. WOW!. Sorry to hear about it. :(
  4. Did you phone TSB or online quote. I think their online quote system it wrong, besides always getting an error when I try it, its over half the price of everything. As for the licence, you have 6 points, makes no difference what it says on it, it what it says on the computer system. By dad's got over 20 points if you look at it that way. If you send off for a new licence it will be one of the picture ones. Stuart
  5. But you are missing the 2 most important things. What colour was it and was it an Auto or Manual. Cos manuals can hold more power ;), and wee all know that red is the fastest. ;)
  6. Yes Japan normal unleaded is the same as our Super Unleded. Some one must have changed the sticker.
  7. If you do an online quote and you say 300ZX they will presume that it is UK spec because th 300ZX is called the Fairlady in Japan. A few people have had premiums increased and policies canceled a few months later when they found the car is an import. Stuart
  8. Right click SaveAs http://www.nissanzx.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ZXStrangeBeautifulFinish.avi You need DIVX
  9. I wasnt thinking of buying tyres, well not just yet anyway. I was just pricing up tyre prices for when I get alloys and I decided to look at tyres-sold-online, and I noticed that the site hasnt been updated by the looks of it. Then I remembered some one saying it was going bust, but I thought they would have took the site down, or the server close it when they dont pay the bill. Stuart

Same here. I didn't see anywhere, were people where having a go at you. You said you where told one thing and others said they where told another.
  11. Sounds really like the temperature sensor. I think is it in the nose of the car some where, but shielded as to not be effect by the wind. http://300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi here is the online manual of the car, it will be in the wireing and AC section some where. Have a look there see if you can see where it is. I will look to. 4 eyes are better then 2. ;)
  12. http://www.tyres-sold-online.co.uk Are they still going? I thought they went bust, because I remember some one on the forum having trouble with them. Also they still have S02's which haven't been made for over a year. It is possible they have surplus stock. I notice that they say some part of thier site will be up and running in September 2001. Bit late isn't it? Stuart
  13. Is the reading constently high, i.e. start at 30º and goes up and down with the temperature or is it very irretic? Becuase if it is reading high all the time, but just reading too much you can set the offset down The temp sensor for inside the car is located in the vents near the interior light. The big light not the 2 small reading lights. Stuart
  14. Optimax guarentee 98RON at the pump while Super say 98RON during refining. Where is Nelson to tell us how good Shell products are when you need him ;)
  15. 2 seater is 2+0. Yes the rear sills to suffer but the boot lid is fine and most of the Z's are T-Top. All 2 seaters are import too, cos official UK ones are all 2+2 Twin Turbo T-top. I made a vid of Z's and posted it up I will try to find the link for you. I know that I have changed the link so old ones on the site wont work :(. I post the link when I find it. Stuart

For those who cant afford £100 or so on pads ;) I e-mailed EBC asking which pads and they said Red Stuff for all 4 Wheel Drive and Turbo cars. Stuart
  23. Did they say what was wrong with the tyres? Stuart
  24. Normal unleaded in Japan is 98RON and Super is 100 or more I think, so that is why it says use 98 RON. It should be OK with normal unleaded but I use Optimax virtually all the time. I dont when I cant find a Shell station. I found that the car ran a lot better with Optimax which is only 2-3p a litre more when Super Unleaded is about 10p a litre more. With Optimax I also found my MPG go up slightly which really cancels out the extra money spent on it. Also higher RON petrol is needed if you have a modified car so to prevent detination. Stuart
  25. Ahhh, got ya. I thought you meant it was in an accident. Damn dyslexia LOL My car is pulling to the left slighty too. :( I think its my brake sticking but I need to do 1 or 2 more things on it before I look at them Stuart
