What's the worst prank you ever played?
I pissed in a can and then some one drank it. The worse one I heard was on a stag night. The groom was so drunk he past out and his friends thought it was funny for some one to w**k in a condom and then some one pushed it up his ar*e with a pencil and smothered his bum with KY. He was only told about a year later what they did. Stuart

***Warranty Update***
What about cars with 167,000 miles ;) Thats good. Obviously things like wipers and tyres are not covered by the warranty. With the servicing, I change my oil every 3000 miles but the book says every 5000-6000 miles. So every other oil change you take it to a garage. You buy the oil and filter and they cant charge more than £20 do to it for you. Sounding good. Any idea of approximate costs? Stuart

detonation with se-chip.
Crank Angle Sensor. It basically tells the sparks when to fire. If you unscrew it and twist it clock wise I think it advances the timing. That means it waits until the cylinder is higher up before the spark. Turning it the otherway will retard it, firing the sparkplug when the cylinder is further down. Detonation is when the fuel ignites itself before the spark fires. As the cylinder moves up it compresses everything, but the fuel and air becomes hotter as it is compressed until it ignites. Retarding the timing will make the spark fire sooner, hopfully before the compression makes the fuel too hot. The SE chip retards the timing slightly via the ECU to help stop detonation at higher boost. If you have had some one tuning your car, they may have used the CAS to put the timing back to the stock value. Is what I said true? Or have I just spent the 5 mins typing a load of rubbish? Stuart

Anti-freeze.
What? I had to put anti freeze in my car again when I did the Thermostat. I put about 3.5 litres in and then the rest with water. I dont think you have to be deadly accurate. Get a 4 litre bottle and leave about a pint in the bottom. :D What is the reccomended amount of Anti Freeze needed? Stuart

detonation with se-chip.
Very strange. I run 15-16psi with the chip on stock turbos and it only dets in top gear, which I am not surprised at. I get 15psi at less than 3000rpm. Is the timing correct? I think the SE chip retards the timing. If a tuner then advances the timing back to normal it could cause problems. Stuart

Warranties For Us Z Owners.....Interested?
Im interested. Obviously depends on the price then.

Warranties For Us Z Owners.....Interested?
Im interested but every warranty place I looked at required your car to be less than 10 years old and less than 100,000 miles. I have no chance then. Stuart

Bye bye Concorde - sniff
Did any one see that programme about the race to break the sound barrier first and all the problems the aircraft had reaching that speed and all the many men who dies doing so. It was so hard to break that people thought that the speed of sound was impossible. Imagine if you told those people then, that in 20 years there will be a passenger plane which flys faster than the speed of sound with ease. It is a part of aviation history and I think it is a crime that it is being retired. Probably one of the safest planes in the world. One crashed after hitting a part that fell of another plane, thats it. These planes would never be hijacked as I doubt that any hijackers would want to pay £8000 to get on the plane to hijack it when a £60 ticket on a Easy Jet will do. :D Stuart
