Where did you get your £339 quote from? Under what policy and what conditions?
  9. Change oil between 3000 and 5000 miles. Most people try to get Castrol RS 10-60 oil. Yes it does has LSD as standard.
  10. No RX7s do worse MPG than a Z. You can look at 16-18 round town and 25-32/33 on a motorway run depending on how you drive. They are reliable cars if you get a good one and you look after it too. With Chip, Exhaust, Induction and increased boost you would be looking at close to 400bhp at the flywheel. Most cars will come with some sort of performance exhaust on and inductions can be got for about £100. However, if you chip and increase the boost you will need a new clutch over the stock one as they wont last very long. There are lots of people on here who can supply parts cheaper if you want to increase power and there is always a group buy not not too far off. One think which I think you will like with the Z over the RX7 is the T-Tops. :D :D :D Stuart
  11. Adam is having boost controller problems now.
  12. I think that we will have to agree that they are completely different cars. Most people think the Supra and 300ZX are virtually the same car because they have the same engine size and Twin Turbo. But that is where it stops. If we are compairing 3 litre TTs why not talk about the F40? I am very proud of my Z because it is like no other car on the road. The Supra, 300ZX, RX7, 3000GT all get put in the same category because they were all around about the same time, have simalar engine setups and have roughly the same power. What is the great thing, is how 4 different car companies all target the same market and come put with 4 completely different cars in looks and mechanics. It gives us all something to look at, talk about and even meet up about it. That is why I think the Japanese performance car community is the best car community in this country and probably in the world. So lets keep this community going by not compairing dick sizes and saying why my car is better than yours and lets appretiate the good things about other cars. I know why my car is good, and no matter how much a Supra, RX7 or any other car owner preeches about their car to me, it wont make me change my mine so why bother. And I wont goto a Supra owner and preach why they should get a 300ZX because they bought the car because that is what they want so why bother. My 2 pence
  13. I remember them in the 80s. Didnt the Trotter's Prat Mobiel have those horns on? ;) Stuart
  14. Heard the latest song people sing at Newcastle football matches? *sing* Seven in a bed and the little one said, GET OFF!

I dont need search engines, my engine is always in my car
  17. Is Mascrat Manor on tomorrow night (12th)? If so I will be going, DaveW said he would too. You two going? Stuart
  18. That sounds about right. The Supra is only ever so slighly faster than the Z and is said to have 320bhp. Stuart
  19. There are single turbo setups on a Z32. Not many because they cost a lot to do. Single turbo setups produce more power than twin turbo because most people dont want to spend the money on 2 huge turbos. If you are going to spend loads of money on doing a powerful setup up its easier and cheaper to buy 1 huge turbo than 2 huge ones. I would like to say that power is not everthing. Get these cars with the huge turbos which produce amazing amounts of power on to a drag strip and they wont do as well as you think. Huge turbos create huge lag. The 300ZX has quite small turbos to reduce the lag. Supra TT has one smaller than the other i believe, where the smaller turbo spins first creating boost lower down the rev range and also help the larger turbo to spool up. Dont forget that the Surpa engine was completey redesigned when the 300ZX came out.
  20. There is so much hatrid towards people and their Z lately so I am showing my love for it ;) Come one people post your love. No cum staines please. Stuart
  21. They look like his wheels ;)
  22. No, the thermostat is stuck open and the engine never gets above 60º. It was warm enough because saftey boost was turned off. ;)
  23. Thought you was with all this WE business ;)
  24. I have now been told we could do a novice friendly version of Binbrook but will have to do it soon after the new year. They are also looking into new venues in the midlands too. Would people like one sooner in the new year then? Stuart
