Do what most Uni students do. Get drunk and have a w**k.

NSX.....Naaaaaa
They would have to be rear mounted considereing the engine is there ;) They are beautiful looking cars though. 0-60 is a little misleading because 2nd gear goes upto 90mph. So why the Z has reached the rev limiter at 60, the NSX is only just into the power band. Good kill though. What reg is the NSX? H reg ones are still going for £20,000 or so. Stuart

Help changing thermostat.
I even had time to make a little video of the performance of the 2 thermostats? Any one want to get bored to sleep and have a look ;)

Great summer.
What? We are British we are never happy with weather. People will still complain about it rain even though it would have been the first proper rain for about 3 weeks. People will say that the summer was too hot in July and then say its too cold in August. People go on holiday and say it was too hot. So why go there then? I think the summer has been beautiful this year as I think the year before was and the autumn is starting off nice too. I think this winter will be quite cold though. People will say it is too cold ;) But if it's warm people will complain it never snows. ;) Some people are never happy. Every day is a good day for my Z ;) Stuart

Off Road Insurance
Adrian Flux do a layup policy which is usually used for winter use, so you are not insured to drive it. Stuart

Get yer heads roung this !
Its an old trick. You actually end up adding up the wrong things. There are 2 ways of working out the money, one from the shop point of view and one from the buyers point of view. You start to work out the puzzle from the shops point of view but because we have this assistant going between the shop and the customers we get the maths mixup and work out the last half of the puzzle from the customers point of view.

Help changing thermostat.
1/2 an hour. How the hell did you do it in 30 mins? Everything that could go wrong did, including dropping a bolt which landed near the water pump  Anyway did get it on and the difference between the 2 thermostats was quite a bit. The old one was open about 2mm all the time and would not close. I boiled them in water and the old on seemed to open wider, but when I stood them both up in cold water the new one closed all the way back down in about 2 seconds, with the other took a few mins to get back to the starting place. Enging is warmer now :D. Not that much warmer. It gets to just under 70ºC and only got to 80ºC after I booted it for a few seconds. Didnt take long to get it back down though. :D Im just hoping there are no leaks. Stuart

Worth it ?
I hear you can make the NA to about 280/300bhp, but you are talking a lot of work, such as new cams and such. Its going to cost a lot of money. When you do mod it I dont think you will get anywhere near the MPG of a normal NA. Infact I would think it would do worse then a Turbo.

Who makes this Wide Arch Kit?
Im not that fussed on the rest of the car I just like the rear arches. The picture was from a track day site in the gallary of a day at Elvington. Stuart

Help changing thermostat.
Okay then. I will do it Friday. I think it was the thermostat which was causing my over heating a few months ago. All of a sudden in 1 day it over heated and then again over night the engine would not warm up. It will be nice to see the temp gauge on the 80ºC mark again. Stuart

Who makes this Wide Arch Kit?
The wide arch isnt. The rear bumper is not that nice. it looks like one of the monsters from PacMan

Who makes this Wide Arch Kit?
Personally I think it looks a lot better than the bulging one that most people have. Any idea who makes it? Stuart

Consumer input please
Would this just be for Japanese cars? It is Japanese cars which are mostly modified as they are the easiest, but I get sick of reading about Hondas, Lexus, Toyota etc. all the time. I know they are a little boy racer but the Cosworths are a very good car. Dont forget about Audis, Lancias, BMW (!spit!), Lotus. And to a lesser extent Vauxhall and like them. I would like to see cars like that too. Stuart

Some companys deserve to go under
Problem with most web sites with prices on, especially like alloy wheels, they price changes so often with exchange rates, competition and availability. Most places would not be able to give a price until they phone their suppliers. Its not a thing that you keep in stock. I would be more pissed off if they advertised one price and when I phoned it was more expensive. Most places will pay a company to create a website, the wheel company will have no access to so they cant change the prices as needed. They have to pay the web developers to do it, and as many of you will know, they will charge a full days work just to change a few numbers. And with the prices probably chaning week by week, it would be very expensive to change. As for compainies who dont ring back it is a pain, but you telling me you have never forgot to ring some one back? They maybe so busy at the moment they dont have time or slipped their mind. Dont forget that they probably have loads of enquiries about wheels to which a very small percentage will actually buy some. Their attitude may be, if they are serious about buys some wheels, then they will phone back. I know its a pain when they say they will and then dont phone, but I work in a place where hundreds of customers expect you to ring them for the smallest things, when we have more important things to do. I know you are annoyed but do you really wish the whole company to go bust and every one lose their job just because some one forgot to ring you? Stuart

Injector upgrades?
From what I have heard, any injector which is larger than the CC of each cylinder, will effect the idle. Using that rule 555cc will effect the idle slightly but I have heard people say it doesnt. I have seen threads on TT.net with people who have installed 720CC and they say the idle is really rough because of them.

She's quick but not allways!!??
I am not sure whether the ECU will show a det sensor code if detonation has occured and will still show after turning the car off and on. I thought it only gives you a code if the det sensor is faulty. I may be wrong though. Stuart

Consumer input please
I would like to read a mag like Fast Car / Max Power, but they are so childsh. If I want porn I am tall enough to reach for the top shelf thank you very much. I would like to read about peoples cars, without having some bimbo putting knee shaped dents on the bonet, or have to look at some ones Saxo who has spent twice the value of the car on a kit but devalued it to £0 because they have no taste and bad work. If the mag was more on the modifying of the car and not so much on the w***ers who think they rule the world it would be interesting. Would like to see some older cars in there too, like the Mk1 Escorts which have stupid sized engines in old type Rally cars which are still going; cars like that. Stuart

She's quick but not allways!!??
On automatics there is a kick down switch on under the accelerator. Make sure you press the throttle down all the way and hard to activate the switch. Stuart

Help changing thermostat.
The online manual says I will need to remove the rad fan. It that just to make more room. I dont think I can be arsed doing it any more ;) How much will it cost to pay some one else to do it ;)

She's quick but not allways!!??
Try to find some one with a ConZult software. You may be detonating on these times which it is feeling slow and going to safty boost which has the same effect as when your engine is cold. I driven my dad's Auto Galant and sometimes when you floor that is seems fast and other times it doesnt do anything. It may just be where you are in the rev rance. Some timesthe box changes down a gear some times it doesnt, some times the box lets the revs rise before doing anything some times it doesnt. Stuart

She's quick but not allways!!??
Are you doing this when you car is not upto full operational temperatre? Below that temperature the turbo boost is turned down and the timing retarted which will make the car feel like its not moving. Dont worry about the sound. Does it sound good? Then stop complaining. ;) It maybe the exhaust. At 2000rpm my exhaust is really loud and if I am just cruising round town its really loud. It actually get quieter the faster I go or if I am accelerating. Stuart
