Is it basically a stock one buy made of Pollurathine? (Spelling ;)) I ask because I know mine is not a stock one because it has been replaced when the previous owner parked upto a kirb and smashed the front. The one I have now doesnt have the black strip in the middle like stock ones do, and its flexable as hell. Put it this way, the little bump I had last year was enough to smash his bumper, smash the fiber glass bumper strength bar, but the bumper just flexed. :confused: Any one know what bumper it will be then? Hi and welcome. The best thing is to look at what you like. There is no point asking us because for ever 1 person who likes something there are 2 who dont like it or prefer another one. Personally I like the 99 spec bumper but because so many people are changing it, I think I will be different and stay stock ;) YOu should try to get to a meeting or something as some cars look better in the flesh, well metal and plastic ;) Stuart

NCB lasts for a year you know. So if you dont renew it you still have a year to go. Anyways. Check out as much insurance as you can first. As you know, UK Zs will be cheaper to insure than Japanese Import ones.

Some alarms offer an optional pager system which will page you when the alarm goes off. As for the closure but I dont think it means it closes the windows. I think it just means self contained.

All UK Zs are TTs, but not all TTs are UK. ;) Insurance companies charge more for Imports because Japanese spec parts have to be ordered from Japan for repairs. Thing is, most parts are needed to be imported from Japan even though you actually ordering a UK/European part, it still usually comes from Japan, so that shoots their idea in the foot. Why you want a 300ZX? There is some one on here who went the other way and wanted a smaller lighter car. Why dont you have cars long enough to get NCB? You can transfer insurance from one car to the next. You dont have to cancel a policy to start a new one on a different car.

I actually sent the post before I finished it and then went back and edited it. If you are looking for power and speed, go straight for a TT. Most people wish they got a TT after a few months with a NA. But there are many people who are happy enough with the NA. If you ask nicely I am sure some one who lives near to you will take you for a spin in their TT. Stuart

Nothing. What we know as the 300ZX, the Japanese call the Fairlady. Its still the same car with a few minor cosmetic differences between the 2. However the difference between a NA and TT is quite a lot. I think your 200SX will be faster than a NA ZX. ZX TT does 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds. I think the NA is over 6.5.

Is any one up for a little Northern meet there? The people who couldnt make it to the SE one can get a dyno done. Or the people who did go SE can get theirs done again and find out what its REAL power is. ;) Only joking!

The film? Some good action sequences in the middle. All this philosophy mumbo jumbo which was in the first 2 has completely gone. Probably the most disapointing ending I have ever seen. I thought they where going to round it all off, but no! They kept it completely open for more films.

It was one of the big fire works with the plastic casing. :mad: I didnt have a problem with fireworks a few years ago. But fireworks are being set off 2 weeks before bonfire night. 1am, 2 weeks before bondfire night and people are setting off fireworks. Why? Thing is now shops will keep selling them untill after the new year, which means another 8 weeks of people setting off fire works for no reason.

But I have never seen a film projected onto a 28 inch screen. Because there is no point. If you are watching films where you do see if flickering I dont think much of the cinema you go to. I have what I would call a good home cinema set up. I have a good wide screen TV and the dolby sound. What you are probably thinking of is a projection unit or even a plasma screen, which will cost you £3000 for a basic model and there are problems with plasma screens, the colours are fuzzy. We have 3 at work and the colour quality bad. Like EVERY plasma screen I have seen.

How can a DVD which is limited in resolution and number of colours and on top of that is also compressed, be better than projected film with infinate colours and infinatly better resolution because it doesnt have one. Even with digital film it is 1000's times more sensative than the 720x576 resolution of a TV.

Where the feck do you watch films? Film quality is miles better than and DVD. When I watch a DVD I can see the compression where colours dont blend but jump on steps. Stuart

I was driving to the pictures this evening and I got a puncture after driving over firework debris. How many other people property is going to be damaged because of some one elses fireworks. I wont be able to sleep very easy tonight and I like the window open and there will be no chance of that. :mad: I hope the puncture can be repaired. Stuart
