is that thing downt the bottom left removable? is it called a secondary clutch booster? hoping i can ditch these as the right hand side only needs a fuse box relocated where as the left hand side (looking from the front) has alot of ugly stuff)

will be starting my journal. what is the best format to write it in? should i write all the things i want to do to it (not that i know yet) or should i just write and photograpgh things as i go along? looking at others they seem nice and tidy :) what is the best resolution for the pictures? i dont want them to flood the screen as they ar 12mp and am thinking out using settings to get it down to an appropriate size. cheers all you crazy zed lubbers! cheers bud, like i said though, i dont have ramps, only a 2 ton trolley jack and 4 axle stands :) but i will atleast try this tonight when my other 2 axle stands arrive

also... i might not fit jack under the car, i have to remove the front bumper anyway so would removing the bumper give me more clearance to fit jack under to jack it up?

was about to raise car off ground and neighbours were all saying "shouldnt have a car on 4 axle stands" "you need to have a ramp on one end". problem is gearbox dont work properly and i refuse to run my car with its broken water hoses.... there is no way i can push the rear of the car up ramp to get 18" clearance for the front to take out gearbox :( any advice? i thought i was ready but i dont have a ramp and not sure what to do now :(

thats what i thought :) well mine look horrible so was hoping they would be out of sight. especicially all the stuff on the drivers side.... was hoping like most of that can be removed but looks like they control things :( i will see if i can also relocate ALL the stuff on the drivers side inner fender without too much re-wiring/plumbing what do you think? can i see what your inner fenders look like? True. I've got write ups for fuse etc. Wondered about rear engine bay cover but worried about air flow. Also I want to get skins for engine bay. Do they cover most of the components? All the people I see with theirs on looks like everything is either covered or relocated. I'm Hoping it covers as that means alot less relocation :p

Also, how much piping in general can I remove or relocate out of sight?

sorry to bring this up but just noticed your post. DO you think the EFI harness will last under the plenum? i would still like to do this :) and your pictures dont work :(

i would rather not bypass it but £180 for a new sensor seems a joke!... is there anyway it could be the loom and that i may be able to repair/clean it?

can i fix a Broken DET sensor or is it a replacement job? i thought about bypass but don't think its worth the hassle of further damage :( whats the best solution? track a used one from a broken zed?

well i personanly wish i had a dual exhaust, here is a clip of mine with single exhaust,,, its just doesn't sound right and needs more of a burble than a constant forcing sound :( only problem is most exhausts i see for sale say "2+2 only" so until i find a used twin for my SWB then ill have to stick to this. Plus my bumper can the groove from the stock rear bumper where another exhaust SHOULD be! apologies for my mates speed and music selection (and members previous comments of bare feet driving!) [YOUTUBE] d[/YOUTUBE] [YOUTUBE] [/YOUTUBE] the one below shows that i have no fuel but i had actually over half a tank, can't remember problem but when i had my car in a garage down Brentwood it returned fine after i mentioned fault (can't remember what he did to fix) BUT!!!! let this be a lesson to you..... single sounds nowhere near as good inside or outside of the car as a dual (well mine don't anyway :p) [YOUTUBE] [/YOUTUBE]

yeah im trying to get hold of the standard side mounted ones as this came with FMIC and i dont really like it

never mind :) found some on Zcentre. will save cosmetics for when the gearbox and engine is sorted me thinks to keep it simple.. i definitely want the rear perspex that goes above the tail lights :)

yeah ive been looking at what front bumper to fit and i would like the tail lights... whats the best way of getting the tail lights? I saw a post with you in about LED but they were out of my price range for a long while.. what sort of price am i looking at for 99 tail lights?
