Anyone know what has caused this? and how i fix it? Afaik we havent put any new hardware/software on it. Works fine for a few minutes, open windows+ soon after goes to this screen, where nothing seems to work. cheers!

Its quite shocking when the boost is upped.They are 'quite lively' as stock, but afterwards theres an almost instant responsiveness right through the rev range, which i didnt expect + gentle throttle control in the wet becomes crucial. Usually its when im joining the motorway + accelerate at 60+ mph it all goes very sideways in the rain. I've No plans on going back to stock though...

Yup, mines all good too. Even fixed the annoying sqeaking, she can get out + drive her own car. :rofl:

I have series 2 interior, nice suede+leather trim, in a series1.

I would say mine is boringly reliable, starts hot or cold first go + the only grief i get is sweaty palms in the rain..... but thats tempting fate. I think most problems are a lack of maintenance, abuse + age. I'm now looking out of the window, waiting for a wheel to fall off.. :wack:

I've welded more cars than i care to think about, the most important part if doing any diy welding is not setting it on fire, also remember.... dont set it on fire.lol.Really satisfying to do it yourself+ fully weld all panels. If you cant, or dont know any good welders get a few quotes as its amazing the difference in prices. needs to be done properly , by repairing inner+ outer panels, not just covering it up. On a normal car i wouldn't bother with second hand suspension bits,but with a zed the parts get upgraded just because they can be, rather than because the bits are knackered,hence easy to get good stock parts.. Oh yes, dont set it on fire!!

I use any good 10w40 + change it probably too often.Cheap engine insurance.

i found a soft nail brush + a mild carpet cleaner worked wonders on grubby cream leather seats.Had to do it twice, then a good vacuuming. Even left them soft afterwards.The stuff was called 'rad'.

Dump the oil + look at it + the filter. If its full of tiny bits of metal, get looking for another engine.

I find a zed an annoyingly hot place to be in the summer without it, big hot engine never blows cool air out. Are the front seats electric? The difference between them + manually adjustable is massive.

I used the dremel method on a previous zed.With top quality tools, you dont have to remove masses of plenum. just enough to get straight on the screws, Little bop on the end with a hammer + they undo easy. Mine took a bit of a wiggle + twist to get out + some vaseline eased the new one back in.

Yup, they did an astounding acoustic version, got the whole place singing. Never knew they could play so many different styles, slow acoustic up to hard fast amazing rock. They also took the time after the event to come outside the apollo and meet and greet and THANK all the fans who wanted to talk to them, never heard of that before..they do it all the time though we first saw them supporting Nickleback.another astounding band.

Hi. Its got twin outlets, with a joining piece between them.

I've been to look at a zed TT tonight that has the occasional bit of smoke at idle + sometimes on startup to see why it does it....It has had the pcv valves done.Does not always smoke, hard to say exactly if it was blue or grey? My problem is, its got a balance bar between the exhausts. Any simple ways to tell? Remove the inlet to turbo pipe? :confused:
