I tried to get mine to the garage yesterday, took a long while to get up the slope from my house + i kinda got bored with watching front wheel drive boring cars whizzing past. Least bit of throttle its spinning and heading sideways. That said, i am missing it + will be glad to be driving it again when the ice clears.

Its all going wrong. :cursing: We've got xmas day with her mum + her sister + her baby, which i really looked forward to, but now the lil tot has got Swine flu + isnt coming, her mum is now showing signs of flu. :cursing: I've had to go out to try and get something the girly will like to day, because the thing i ordered wont be here in time, despite being ordered weeks ago. This wouldn't have been so bad, without the freezing ice giving me a big slide+ a minor kerbing (not the zed thankfulyl) + in the process has thrown her prezzies into the boot breaking one, then a 15mph drive home. We were planning a nice festive walk through town to see the light + shes hurt her knee in the ice, before we have left the garden. :wacko: Then i opened the walk in wardrobe where i stashed her last prezzies+ they are soaked in water, looks like the roof is leaking. My old car was locked up with a flat battery. After a lot of head scratching, i jacked it up one side + put a live feed jumper cable onto the feed to the starter, then put an earth on + used the 'plip' as normal.

Thanks guys, will do battle with it if i'm not working + it's not snowing. The wire to the glowplugs was melting earlier- never a good sign :angry:

Hi guys. My dads diesel mondeo is a cow to start,takes ages always sounds like battery is dead when its brand new(and independently tested). Its a 1999 1.8 if that helps. Any ideas?

This is my third 'this ones staying' zed, My signatures a bit of a red herring as i have had a few project zeds i've fixed or upgraded+ moved on. In the meantime, i've had an audi a8 4.2, toyota supra turbo, honda prelude, honda legend, mondeo snoozemobile,bmw 525, bmw 735 + a couple of cheap runabouts.Phew. I've still managed to spend most days using a zed for my main car. I toy with the idea of a 'sensible' permanent car, but then i drive the TT + nothing else compares. :taz:

The whole thing stinks. I tried to restrict my c02 emission by cycling and walking, however i kept having to breath deeper, thus increasing my own c02 emissions. Henceforth i am going to sit still in future + try not to fart, as apparently methane is an enviromental disaster too.Tongue firmly in cheek, but not too far.. Where does it all end? I do believe we are approaching the death of the fast cars, and will all soon be reminiscing about the good old days of this era. Enjoy them whilst you can.

I was 28p over my limit last week + the halifax wanted £28, until i had a whinge+ to be fair, squashed it. The worst they ever did was during my move. I went £8 overdrawn,due to a direct debit going 1 month early.(sky) charge £28, unautorised overdraft.Another £28, failed direct debit.£28, direct debit returned £28. A letter to tell me all this, yup you guessed it Another £28. In total i was charged £138 , including the interest on the unauthorised direct debit.All in the red.Frustratingly, they would not give me an overdraft 'as i was overdrawn',nice.

Placid? hmn.I do try to be easy going but i tend to er 'over respond' when anyone threatens me.Hence i've had to walk away from him more than once, as he gibbered about 'martial arts' puffing his chest out. He's just a sad git in his 60's to me, i would be ashamed if he drove me to violence. Although that said he has a history of threatening+ being really aggressive to other neighbours(had one in a choke hold over a equally petty matter). That i wouldn't tolerate. He's universally disliked, odd thing is his mrs is totally charming.

My local enviroment guy said if i cut any of his branches, i have to return them as they are his.But,if i throw them over the fence i am liable to prosecution for littering.Ho hum.

The story. Apologies its a bit long. Just before we moved in last year we said to our new neighbours we want to put a 6' fence up,halfway down garden to make a private seating area at the bottom. in a nutshell his wife loved the idea' you can do it all the way along tbh'(it was 'their' side fence i wanted to do+ pay for. Any hoo, he went ballistic so often + so aggressively i had his face pushed into mine more than once + didnt respond, until deciding to fence ALL the way along now. He promised never to speak to me. he still does , to try to tell me what to do with the front garden/drive, or working on the car+ prattles on about my front fence,Which is annoying. I have taken to saying 'its a nice day, go annoy someone else, although my mrs get uptight when he does it. I even 'lost' some land by putting the new fence away from his falling down short fence. He has now put his shed up resting on my fence, even cutting the top down to get his guttering under. So.what do i do?

'er films, dr.who, music channels + she has to watch corrie' That didnt help.lol. Ok. i have been looking at a new 42-50" tv, got up to £800. Trouble is, one set looks great with plasma, then another looks better in lcd, or led form. I'm confused :wack: Whats should i be getting, or looking out for?
