  1. Theyve done this next opposite my house.Within two days it was all out + sprayed over my car. How can that be cost effective?
  2. Guy i work with has had a couple of these, they go quite well + dont last long. I wanted one, then did a search on ebay, half were spares or repair.Only for the brave...
  3. As for driving,The positives of gto are in the wet + snow i've been through, the zed would of been dangerous + way slower, the gto strolled it without a slip. In the dry the zed is predictable loony fun, the gto just grip, grips +grips, then launches off towards the hedge with barely any warning.Being Big and heavy, its luck alone that will keep you safe then. The zed definitely 'talks' to you more, i always knew what was happening in mine.. As for £3k boxes in the same way that zed turbos are £3000 from nissan to get fixed. :sailor: Or not! Really depends where you go as prices vary wildly . Some think you must be rich + mechanicly dense.Really annoying. Anyhow the outputs can strip splines off if you do aggrssive launchs all the time ,Its the slack not being taken up that does it, + are £250 bits, around £200- £1000  to get fitted Some places are silly expensive, i've been quoted £525+ vat for a cambelt kit just for parts. Then you can get the lot for £450 fitted, all genuine parts... You can also change gto turbos on the drive in a day, with engine in(not saying its easy, its the other way around + 1 tubs next to the bulkhead... grahams gto parts on evilbay(gtoworld) seem good so far. It'll do as a daily till zedtime
  4. The autos arent very exciting,by the time you fix the box(good ones hard to come by) put a cambelt on it, you wont be far off TT prices (1200-2000 ebay, for rust free cars). Speak to the guys at GTOWORLD, one of the few gto garages that dont see you as a mobile payday.. I was offered a manual GTO TT for Just over £1150, with 6 months tax+ test a week ago.Guess what i pimp around in while the zeds in bits ?
  5. The poor sod had a go at trying to fade that black down to a point :detective: His taste is only matched by his talent. :devil2:
  6. I got tired of orange 'helplines' that didnt, so i went straight to i want to cancel everything, i'm unplugging it + cancelling the direct debit. 35minutes later, it was all fixed + i'm on a better deal!
  7. I had an rps street max too, 350ishbhp + no hassle.
  8. thankyou guys! I will see it again tomorrow.
  9. Cheers. Being dense ,Does that mean that as if cracking the injectors shuts it up, it has a dead injector??? + will be a cheap fix??
  10. Along with loads of grey smoke..
  11. Blimey, hammers. thats exactly how i would describe it..
  12. So does that mean there is no way it could of started doing it on its own?, without being caused by a mechanic? i was worried about the pump being faulty...is it obvious to look at if an injector is not in correctly?
  13. No-one seems to know what happened to it, as its a p/x . The knock is so seriously loud when cold, you couldn't shout over it.
  14. Hi guys. I know its a ford, but where else do i get to ask guys that know what they are talking about? Anyhow, its a focus diesel near me+ the girlie loves it .I think its best if i just quote the advert STARTS AND DRIVES BUT HAS A KNOCKING NOISE FROM THE ENGINE I HAVE BEEN TOLD ITS A FUELING PROBLEM AND THE KNOCKING IS DIESEL KNOCK, IT SEEMS TO BE OVER FUELING AS DIESEL SMOKE COMES OUT THE EXHAUST WHEN IT STARTS. Any ideas? common faults? what to check? i have my on idea whats up, but i could use some help... :boat:
  15. Oh yes. :stupid: I was out + alone with a girlfriend both drinking from glass bottles when i casually leaned back to put my arm round her...................+ hit the bottom of the bottle she was drinking from, chipping two of her teeth. Not my smoothest ever move.
  16. I had this on my old bmw.I got through two sets+ it was because the calipers needed rebuilding.
  17. Check and clean the connector both parts+ try and see if any wires are broken. Replacement mafs from 300zx.co.uk .lol.
  18. I'll give you £100 for the kidney.Be nice to have a spare
  19. Have you seen grasstrackers lately? A lightweight tubular frame, somewhere to sit,4 wheels, a steering wheel, tiny fuel tank+ one, or even two hayabusa engines. I would love to see what they would do on slicks, cos when they grip on grass its incredible to watch. I spoke to a guy at the pod with an old fiesta with a gsxr1100 engine, all stock with a spacer plate under the barrels+ a turbo.300 bhp+ he only spent £1000.That was fun to watch.Rear wheel drive too!
  20. I was with tradex, i'm now with stavely head. Its not unique to them by any means.. loads out there to compare with
  21. Trade (but not currently trading) insurance , or home fleet insurance can be great to cover imports, or high value(must be agreed) especially with the mrs on it too. Mines both of us, i'm 39 any vehicle at all + 5 owned vehicles £670.
  22. I've never had major traumas with TT manuals in the last 3 years of daily zedding . Only silly things. e.g. flat remote alarm batteries, leaky targas, a leaky brake master cylinder, a fan that blew only hot air, a few split pipes. Most problems i have had involved a rubbish garage, apart from frozen doors making me late a couple of times- just spray WD40 on the seals+ it lasts a week or two.
  23. Moan moan moan, what do you need to know? :cowboy: Its a £600 ebay zed, it may/may not exist, it might have an engine, it might even have wheels, it could have a seat or two.lol. :cowboy: I have been to see 'mint' cars + asked the sellers 'so wheres the one in the picture?'
  24. Hi. If you need it moving quick,Try calling the aa/rac recovery, has to have tax in the window though.
  25. Swiftcover did me a great deal on my uk TT manual, was about £204,(i'm 39, 2 claims+3points.oops.) comp with legal, windscreen/courtesy car etc. They Wouldn't touch imports though! My latest jap TT Will now be cheaper for me + the bird to be on trade/home fleet insurance. Search is your friend though.....
