Yeh yeh. Problem is your still stuck with a cruddy diesel :xxx: (the car, not you tubz) . Think a lot of people missed the point here, you can have a powerful car + make it cheaper to run. Take my 3.5 litre bmw, i have an older lpg multipoint type(new ones interact+copy cars ecu,giving more go+more mpg, mine doesn't). I use it for the daily commute, be that 40, 60, or 100mph, all on gas.Just out of interest, it did 145mph(before i felt sorry for it.it has done 275k!!), on petrol+135mph on gas. Only other thing with gas is some loss of mpg, instead of 22mpg, you get 18mpg, but still 94pence per litre petrol, or 44pence lpg. Yeh.Tough choice :rolleyes: So rather than a goddawful+ rattly oilburning 'ooh you really cant tell its a diesel car' pfffft, anyone who trots that line out hasn't recently driven a petrol/lpg car! yes,you can drive a nicer car! Diesels suck :tongue: +yes, i've driven the new audi+ the jag+a few others, all have short peaky power curves+no revs....boooring! Yes, you can use vegetable oil, do a top gear search,they got the aa to do it. It was so popular up north, morrisons put a limit on the amount per customer!(need 3%white spirit nasty type, mixed with it, to cut down on the gumming up+ to help cold tickover-will start ok on neat, just rattles+runs badly without spirit, otherwise it just makes your car smell of mcdonalds!) +its still a bloody diesel :hurl: I'm losing the thread, lpg gives you a fast, reliable car.Losing 10% power..er, that means only 270bhp+ if you really need it for fast overtaking/whatever, flick it onto petrol! If you want to do miles in a zed,or another 'proper' car, its a good choice. A 'torroidal', round tank takes the place of your spare+ get a can of 'fix it fast' instead. Lots of the quicker/thirstier t5 volvos have converted, without too much hassle. Stops all the tired 'ooh, bet thats thirsty', as joe public drools secretly over the zed, after climbing out of his 600cc 'themrsmademebuyitmobile' I have an itching to convert my zed. When i get the time, i will do it myself+ pay to have it certificated. Wow, huge post alert! :shock:

I wanted + would of gone to grafham, last sunday.Never been(only recently got a zx + joined club). But i was at a 'family bbq+birthday thing'+ just couldn't not go. I'm not phased by bigger/flashier/better z's/whatever, as i appreciate others take on things. Thers also always a quicker/faster one,i run a 205at the wheel bhp bike........and regularly get blown away,although admittedly not often.lol.

My friend is looking at yet another z :rolleyes: This one has 'modified, hybrid' turbo's We know so little about tuning turbo'smthat we don't even know what questions to ask when we see it! Any ideas?

At this point i was standing open mouthed, perilously close to drooling on my chin.lol. Good price?, basically cost+a little bit....i cant wait to book it in now,was on his own today.

Oh dear. I'm looking at a well kept, fsh uk car, with light bubbling on arches+ some big bubbles in the back of sill, where it meets wheel area. Its far too good to break, or let rot completely, but i cant spend a fortune on it! What i need is a guide price for a bodyshop, to do the cutting/welding + some nice shiny red paint on top? Any idea whats a fair price, to make it nice again? Any bodyworkers here want to take it on?

So, should i worry? My intended zx starts off at 60 psi+ then tails off after a few miles. Any ideas?, or am i worried about nowt? Is been Run on fully synthetic + changed every 3k Its a 110k uk tt manual.

Ok, i'm confused(doesn't take much!) On bmw's , if the wheeel bore is bigger than stock hub size, you get vibrations/wandering/rubbish drive. So why do i see so many 17,18+ 19 wheels, saying for 300zx fitment, with larger bore sizes? :wack:

I've got the same problem, think the 'tiny' amount of movement in the outer bushes, mot man found has progressed. I

:wack: I've looked at it.scratched my head+ only developed a bald spot, just how do you get the stereos out, without destroying the dash? Hope i dont have to resort to tying them to a lamppost+ driving off :tongue:

I want to convert my speedo to mph on my forthcoming (tomotrrow-yeehaa) manual tt zx, is there a simple way to do it? anyone know of a plug/solder in type device, that wont affect other sytems? Cheers.simon.
