  1. I hope you can get it.Thats one hard earned picture.
  2. rofl. Well, tittering like a girl anyways.
  3. I'm no expert, but my jag xjs did this after a long, fast drive.Would only move in reverse, even then not properly. An oil+ filter(dont know if zx's have one) change was enough to sort it.
  4. This is soo true. I've only been driving mine for 3 days now,but for new-to-be owners, practise The phrase 'yes, well i bought a 3 litre car for the economy' :xxx: I'm half way through £60 's worth....in 68 miles. All down to being an excitable tit in it at the mo. Will be happy with 20 ish mpg.
  5. 'lost drive'?, do you mean it was as if it was in neutral? Was it still running?
  6. Sv 650- good choice! Enough go, handle really well.'forgiving' nature, r6's are definitely more 'high siders', if you shut off too quick.
  7. Woohoo. Well done, bloody hard nowadays! All a bit easier when i did mine in '87, The examiner walked between alleyways to observe me :wack: Gently does it though eh? I treat everyone else as a blind ignorant twerp- especially t junctions + roundabouts. 'it's ok.weve made eye contact, so i know hes seen me'...so why's he still turning into my path
  8. Thankyou cj  , but i really dont trust that temporary tyre. May take you up on it, if i get no-one closer.
  9. Bu**er. 5 weeks waiting for bodyshop, back today+ then.... I just got a nail in a rear tyre+ its unfixable( wouldn't really want to either)+ i cant get a new one till thursday.  So, if you are within 25 miles of st.neots, could i borrow a legal rear? Or maybe buy one/ a set? Dont wanna go far on this yellow wheel :headvswal Cheers.simon.
  10. They are ok, but they die fast. Pm'ing you the real mccoy.
  11. I like that, bet you get a lot of 'err, wtfs that' Got a long way to go with mine, only modified bit on it is a stereo upgrade :p
  12. I got mine today too. Always nice to get something other than junk mail+bills.Cheers steve. :duffer:
  13. Guy i got mine from said pull to first notch+ footbrake on. I've Never tried it though!
  14. Isn't it pull the hand brake to first click??
  15. At 7703 revs, it had better be doing more than 125mph ! :smash:
  16. I've done a search+ can't find it! Mine is uk spec btw.
  17. Hi. I have a chance of running at woodbridge airfield over the winter( on the bike, brrr), but may get a go in the car too. So, how hard is it to get rid of the restrictor? :p Where is it? what does it do?
  18. Hope they do go bust. Stung me for a lot of money, a few years ago. I signed up with them requesting a loan, that i could repay very quickly, if needed. Instead of what i wanted, They charged me 100% of the interest, to get out of loan.Bloody expensive lesson in 'checking the finer than fine small print', and not trusting an 'advisor'
  19. Dont know about the car yet, but. My bike was reading 220mph+ off the clock at woodbridge airfield........a little less was recorded by the lights. Try 193mph :( :wack: . smallest error in speedo is massive at top end. Does look good though :wack: !
  20. The only way around lag, is with hybrid turbos, where you get faster spooling +big power.Single big turbos always seem a bit of a compromise to me, to make them work on the road.
  21. Jeez, place sounds nearly as dodgy as evilbay. Always looks top notch cars on the keighly ads too.
  22. Amazing. Think thats gotta be a sharp stick in the eye for the 'it will let you down' brigade. Currently 42 say use it daily, only 5 against. Must admit, i would of ignored the advise if it had gone the other way-i'm that struck on it. When mine eventually gats back from the bodyshop, its going to take a crowbar to get me out of it
  23. I've just been reading some 300zx turbo reviews, lots of talk about 'great for sunday, but too unreliable for everyday' Seems people will think me mad, if i use mine as my daily driver. So....Who here uses their zed frequently, or all the time?
  24. Well heres a cat going into the pigeons! http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm My brother did this on a massively overbored+ tuned bike. No smoke, no leaks.Big power, compared to another conventionally run in motor, the only difference is he changedoil/filter after 20mile/100mile+500miles
