My series 1 zed heater doesnt want to blow cold, i've replaced the pod, the sensors under drivers footwell + removed centre console. The flap in the middle opens up under 20 odd degrees + is fully open at 10'c. Never blows cold, it has been lukewarm on 40'c though. I have spent an hr searching+ cant get where the heater doors + mixer valve thingy (technical term) is :mac1:

I spend my days in a car chassis parts plant with 580 other people ,all breathing out co2 all the time. bloody disgusting,something ought to be done :smw: Just find it amazing that nowt is done to reduce other c02 emissions, welding + manufacturing around the world being a prime example. But really, who gives a monkeys about car emissions when you see india still producing noxious chemicals, banned the world over+china having smogs from burning massive amounts of fossil fuels :rant: . Compared to them, a car spewing fizzy pop go gas doesnt seem so bad, so surely it cant be because its an 'easy' tax to get the gullible to 'buy into' :confused: .

Worth cleaning the connections behind plenum( idle control bits) I went to change my idle controls over, it started snowing so i put connectors back on + its been a great idle ever since.

My point was to say that to instantly talk in a foreign language whenever migrants are together, regardless of me being there is bloody ignorant.they do not all do it+ i was not just slating migrants.

My fiat turbo 1900 van ran well on it, went + revved faster,but didnt idle too well if you used too much veg oil, as it should always be mixed with diesel.!This is only because of the lack of detergents etc. Teeny bit more smoke on the first start of the day+ the odd laugh from those who know why it smells of chips I used the 'top gear mix' of 3% nasty white spirit, shaken into the oil . This is supposed to stop 'gumming up', look in a fat fryer to see what i mean! Afaik It is also a good idea to use sunflower oil, as its thicker than diesel + actually gives more power. :bow: diesels originally ran on peanut oil btw (like you didnt know :rolleyes: ) My van loved it, as does most of the polish workers audi 1.9's,alfa romeo 2.4jtd's, peugot new small car+ a variety of old+ new stuff.Honestly, you can smell it + if caught by a 'switched on ' plod, you will have to pay duty on the fuel you have.woohey! Just as an aside, i spoke to one guy that had done over 150000 miles in his late 90's hilux +hadn't had any aggro. :hyper: just a shame theres no petrol equivalent :rant: .......still theres always the acetone argument :x:

When i suggested to my manager that maybe it was time to ask all employees to take english lessons, he sarcasticly told me maybe i should learn polish. Makes me soooooo proud :rolleyes: that my father, uncles + granddad fought to stop us all speaking german. :rant: incidentally, my uncle + co. fought alongside polish, french, dutch + many more nations peoples to give us that right.Should we really be ignoring that? :confused:

I've been asked to come along and view one of these with a relative. Trouble is, i know faf all about them. Anyone got any info? what goes wrong? common faults? are they as quick as a zed tt? why are they all so cheap ? Cheers guys.

They are ok.Ideally you need Anything with a fan, and the ability to turn the power right down if you are inexperienced. I had rear sills, little bit of arch, brace part redone + painted+ got qouted anywhere between £350-£1000 to do the job.A sill section could be put into a rough shape for drinks money at any fabrication workshop,So well worth having a go.Dont set the bugger on fire though.... I could tell you a tale there, but i wont, better a wet car than running indoors to fill a bucket while the small fire becomes a 999 call :rant: So beware welding without an accomplice+ look out for hidden wiring + anything else on the other side liable to melt .Oh. I'm rambling :o :slap:

As it says, the estate agents want to thieve £3850 from me, for 3 adverts in a local paper + inserting an ad in their window + on rightmove.co.uk. Bear in mind, our last house sold in a week+ that was the last we saw of the estate agency. Then of course, the solicitors want £3700+ wont say thats all i need. Last time we moved, i was on the phone constantly, listening to 101 excuses, why so+so was waiting for this and that. Sooo. What am i paying for?,how can i pay less? who has done it all themselves??

I could of welded it , but i had a ' small fire' that ruined a previous car+ am paranoid now :xxx: ( i was underneath with a huge migset,bottles+ my lookout guy was asleep :xxx: ) So i drilled it today + was lucky ! Thanks guys! :duffer:

Oh poop. Like it says, it moved, started to turn.then snapped. See pics, i've tried irwin rounded bolt removers and its too small. Theres only a few mm of thread sticking out of course Anybody got a bright idea???
