  1. if you trace two wires back from the ignition (i think mine where orange and brown but carn't remember) there should be a small connector near the black plastic heater duct to the doors (near your feet) unplug it! and this will disable the soloniod. jim;)
  2. it depends on how my volts the unit draws as to which piece of equipment your putting it on in the car ie, whats the fuse maximum load, if it excedes this use a relay to be safe. jim;)

  10. on most alarms there are different setting for the installer to program in for the internal lights, they have timed outputs for cars with comfort lighting and duration timers? It seems strange that you have to drive round for a minute or two to turn them of? the doors are on the same circuit as the boot and don't reqiure an additional wire from the alarm. your bonnet sensor is seperate, do your lights come on when the bonnet is open? hope this helps a little mate Jim.:)

6x9s are the way to go mate linked up to a amp! there not to difficult to fit, you have to remove the door card and take out the standard speaker bracket, theres loadsa room then! they just fit in the door card so make sure you gat them central... jim;)
  17. no mate i just cleaned the gasket and put it back on as normal. the gasket should all be in tact when you remove the sump, can be a little tricky to manouver the sump round the auto box cooling lines when you lift it off, mine was! then you can remove the fluid filter and back flush it with clean fluid, you will see small particles of metal in the filter, this is normal and your filter is doing its job! cheers jim.
  18. i did mine 2 weeks ago and it was that rubbery cardboard gasket, took the pan off cleaned everything then put it back hand tight with a 1/4 inch drive ratchet and everything is still dry under there! be very careful that you have'nt got very strong hands though they will strip real easy....... cheers jim.
  19. i know what you mean mate and i agree with you. i bought mine for 5600 and ive spent about 4000 on mods and 1000 on doing those bits that didnt really need doing but i wanted to do them so i knew there going to be ok. jim.:)
