  1. yes mate, I would have thought it would be ok, the material their made out of is not the conventional paper gasket stuff, it feels slightly rubbery to me. JIM.
  2. Id have to agree, changed mine this weekend and was shocked at the amount of grey sludge and crap on my magnet aswell. Im doing mine again next weekend because only managed to remove 4 out of the 8.7 litres of ATF. JIM.
  3. hi simon, the PFR6 11 where the jap ones I took out I have put the uk ones in PFR6 11C thanks for the replie. JIM.

  5. to cut it short Jap tt 91 auto, new NGK uk plugs in her (PFR 11C). do i have to gap them myself? OR do you leave them alone? If so what should they be?? thank you JIM.

  9. evening all, just wondering whats best. I have had my jap 91 tt auto for about 9 months now and been slowley changing all the service bits (43,000) ie autobox fluid, fuel filter, air filter, tps, pipes, etc the list goes on and on. I have now got a code 34 (det sensor)? Its always been ok on super unleaded with the jap plugs in, but i changed to the uk ones anyway. without condeming the det sensor, is there anything i can try? the car feels awfull when in saftey boost (real heavy and no edge) thanks for any help?? JIM.:( :(
  10. hi mate, I did my bodies no so long ago and you have to adjust the idle to 750 on a tt, unplug the yellow ecu conector at the back of the engine and then adjust the idle screw located near the battery down to 700 then when you plug the yellow conector back in the revs will raise by 50. the conector is right at the back on the right near the idle screw. the engine stalling at braking is the 2 pcvs I belive, i had the same problem, changed them and hey presto..... hope this is of any help mate JIM.:)

  13. thanks for replie lads, i know it does seem a bit strange but i can atually light the back tires up with it on???? but when i turn it off i just get a sort off hesitation / lag???? thanks very much anyway lads JIm:)
  14. hi lads, lately my zed has felt slightly underpowered (tt auto) when you boot it from a standing start the wheels used to spin and away you go... but lately it seems a bit flat low down. but today in the sweltering heat i put my aircon on, and the car is totaly different , its real powerful low down and i can spin the wheels why is this? can any one help? many thanks Jim:confused:
  15. does anyone here know anything about digital radio? ive got a hirshman antenna( for a honda s2000) (my mates)with two 12v feeds coming out of it, one for fm/am and one for d.a.b. then the two coax for 1 for d.a.b and one for fm/am. the problem i have is the fm/am side wont work (antenna not switching over inside) is the antenna faulty? or what else can i try. (just thought id ask you lads) thanks jim.

  20. cheers matty my car seems to drive different every time for some reason.... BUT what i have noticed is it doesnt wheel spin from a standing start like it used to?? can any one help with that one?? jim.:confused:
  21. the drivers side stabilizer bar bush is driping stickey clear grease (like stp grease) can these be replaced or is it a new arm?? and of cause is it easy? jim.:)
  22. when you boot it while in overdrive, does it drop to the same gear it would if not in overdrive ( if you know what i mean) cheers JIM.:)
  23. my seat belts go all slack when your driving if you move forward they stay in the position you where in, if you press the red release button they get pulled back in nice and tight does anyone else have this problem with both? and how can it be sorted? cheers jim.:)
  24. james 300 mate I have them 1st alloys (toora) on my 300 (18's) Theres a pic of them on car on the billing pics, I thinks they look great on darker coloured cars.. (it has a chrome dragon down the sides) JIM.:D
