ok mate, ill go and try it agian? why do you think it wont idle properly on its mark?

I went to test the tps today ( had probs with hesitating) I couldnt get the reading I while car was running or not with my volt meter, so i marked it up and moved it. AAARRRRRR when i put it back to the place where it was it idles at 2000 rpm and the only way i can get it down is to swivel it totaly the other way. Is it knackerd or am I not doing it wright? some times although seems to be getting more and more, my zed seems a bit lazy in changing down in to 2nd or 1st (auto) when you want the power (foot down most of the way) it does'nt seem to want to change down it just stays in that gear and slowly picks up speed? this is getting more and more fustrating is it just me or my zed?? hope this has explained it well enough lads thanks Jim.:)

thanks andy, when you take the balance pipe of you can see the oil in the bottom of both? ive changed the pcvs, do you think this is why i get white/blue smoke on start up in a morning? do you know what causes the oil in plenum prob?? any help appreciated mate Jim.

hi mate. I use some thin copper wire wrap the rubber mount in it tightly, it close's them up and stops the movement!! Jim.;)

is there supposed to be oil in the plenum and the big black balance pipe on a tt? thanks lads (and lasses). jim.:confused: also is it best to run an import tt on super unleaded? ive read through the past threds and there seems to be a lttle confusion?

I paid 120 squid for s/s straight pipes that go from the aivs, and cut the cat heat sensor wires (Dont join them together). you could have 2 small silencers in there but i wouldnt bother the turbos muffle alot of sound anyway. the car don arf feel smooth now and the cars real tail happy. Jim.

had my cats removed today, wow what a difference, i dont know about you lads but i aways thought my zed was lacking edge (tt) now it feels like a cheeky school boy (not that i know what one feels like???) it has real low down punch and accelerates with wheel spin alot better. I have straight through to rear jap cans now. would defo recomend removing cats!!! Mine has only done 39,000 so turbo seals should be okey for 20,000 hopefully........................................ carnt you buy a AFR in car controller for the jap cars instead of having them chiped there a different chip to the uk ones arnt they (so ive been told) Someone please correct me if im wrong??

now then Ive just spent the last 2 hours reading through old posts about gutting cats or bying cat bypass pipes? I would, as many would prefer to gutt the cats you have. Mine a 92 import tt. many say dont gut because you'll have gas flow problems, but many have done this and its fine??. If it does create gas flow problems in the empty boxes does this create a slight backpressure? and can you gut them without spliting them? as you can all tell Im slightly confused about this weeks sunday job? many thanks JIM.:confused: :confused:
