I seem to have suffered the stealth mode also mate ive looked through about 100 photos now and I arnt on any of them.... mine was the one with the chrome dragon down the sides has any one got a pic?? JIM.

Last weekend I replaced mine (12 quid) because when you wigled it the electric fans came on. you can test it with a multimeter I carnt remember what the reading are supposed to be, there on andy p's website (click on links above). and i belive that if there knackerd they make the engine idle lumpey?? hope this small info works JIM.;)

I would have thought anything like thet would be ok, as fog lights dont have to be reflective during the day. as long as they light up red when you switch them on hope this helps mate, failing an m.o.t is depressing, dont do anything stupid mate theres always someone to talk to........... LOL JIM.;)

hi everyone, how do you reset the ecu fault code stored in it i had a temp senor fault shown(code 13), now ive replaced it but when i do a self diagnostic (with wire) it still shows code 13?? i disconected the ecu all night?? thanks jim.

Strange one mate, i belive its the law that you must have a rear fog light?? but you dont need to have front ones and even if you do and there not working it wont afect the mot?? when they imported mine they did all the conversions before it left the shop ie, speedo, de-restricter, fog light etc... JIM. :)

MMmm I know what you mean mate, but i dont think us zed owners have alot of choice, i did this of cutting them into the dash just above the glove box, but this is'nt in our line of sight. and we all know there is 'nt much time to look away when holding the seat of your pants with youre bottom! JIM:D

on the standard boost gauge, when your booting it is the needle supposed to go right to the +7 or just before it? how do you know youre in saftey boost if youve never driven a zed before and the cars been the same since you bought it from japan?? Thanks all JIM.

yer mate when you blip the throttle you can only hear it when your stood over the engine.. JIM

hi mate, there is a panel on the bulk head next to the brake servo its there to be drilled, you can see it and drill it from inside the drivers foot well. failing that run the power cable from the battery with inline fuse down under the car, along the brake line plastic covers and up through the rubber gromet in the boot. hope this is of some help mate Jim.

I keep meaning to ask this question but forgeting when im on the site, when idling if you blip the throttle very very lightly it seems to sort of stall, but it doesnt if you know what i mean. if you do it while under the bonnet you can hear the folowers rattle very slightly for a split second Is this just common for a paranoid zed owner? JIM:)

ive just been outside and wigled the yellow connector on the sensor and my fan comes on and the revs raise??? jim

cheers danny all the connections are like new mate ive just ordered a temp sensor (tenner) so ill try that then ill reset the ecu, is it wise to reset the ecu when you change from unleaded to super? JIM

looking forward to the show at weekend and then this happens, last week I started to have hesitation problems when accelerating from rounderbouts etc.., so I thought i would check my tps for conections etc.. after 2 hours of swearing i managed to get it back to the correct idle. but still have hesitation. mines a jap car tt, but have always run it on 95 unleaded, so I decided to bang 2 full tanks of super in, the car does feel better accelerating but still have the prob. this morning from standing start I planted foot down and nothing happened only a slow pickup got home and checked ecu codes 34 and 13 came up! and while driving home crawling in traffic the gearbox couldnt seem to make up its mind weather to be in 1st or 2nd?? is this all realated to one thing? could someone please help me?? I want to come to billing in it........... Jim.
