  1. basically yes. I would imagine that someone will say about the MAF causing turbulence, bu t by the time it has passed through the other pipe work i think that any effect would have been cancelled out. Just remember that you need the dual intake chip or you will be running well lean
  2. Whos is that then? cos yours is in Lambourne????
  3. have a look in the faq section bud, sure andy duff was doing a write up in there
  4. Dont get your thong in a twist shirley, if you read the post we were talking about Black zeds. And, lets face it, am hardly likely to forget yours as its been parked on my drive more times than mine

if it hurts now, going to hurt a lot more tomorrow :)
  6. I would say keep the blade, I really regret changing mine and although I like the firestorm, its just not a blade. Only one I found twitchy was the one that put me in plaster for 6 weeks:(
  7. Carp, I have a black H reg, Paul has one, and there is a black J plate in Sanderstead also. Paul, by Hamsley green mate and if you want to meet some local zedders, there is a southeast meet on the 13th, see the meets section.

An open pipe, a free flowing air intake, a decent chip. Opinions on how much power you make varies, but it will make it a far crisper drive, sound great and feel a lot faster
  9. yes as in cromwells, and yes, you are .lol
  10. That'll be two H reg black zeds in sanderstead then :) and a black j plater too
  11. That doesnt sound like PCV valves you have there, the PCV kit should consist of 5 hoses and two metal valves. Have no idea what you are describing ??
  12. 37 here, no wife (girlfriend of 12 yrs, who doesnt have, and doesnt want an opinion on what I spend my money on), no kids, shaved head (though I would be balding anyway)
  13. If longlife are no good Roy, try renegade in west kingsdown. Or go see Nick th dick at rhyno dyno in croydon, hes a sarky little t0sspot, but he knows his exhausts
  14. if you lok at that pic, there is a right angled (dark green ) tube that fits into a blacklump of metal. Quite often this comes loose, and it only needs to be a few mill out to catch on the throttle bar, tap it home with a soft faced mallet, for a bit of peace of mind you can put some sealant/ glue around it before tapping it home (it is a friction fit) dont go wild on the sealant/ glue though as you dont want it getting into your PCV system. HTH
  15. If, as is usual, the belt has been taken off, because the unit needs regarssed, and i thas been off for some time, the aircon unit might well have seized up (which the do if left empty)
  16. Sorry, was obviously misled by the use of the word superchip in the title and the text. best way to find out what it does is get it downloaded and have someone look at the bin file, you may be ablke to download it with a conzult, but whether it will download a 512 eprom I dont know

Funny tho, like the llama questions :)
  18. My honest advice is, if its made by superchips, skip it and put another chip in there. A few pics of the last engine I saw with a superchips, it too had a board in the socket with a chip mounted on the board. The poor chaps shown below are now in piston heaven
  19. There is a constant current drain on your alarmget a trickle charger for your garage, or drive the b@stard more often :)
  20. Must have been them elves John, little oafs that they are :)
  21. There are certain types you wash and some you dont, have to say I wash them all :) If you do, just remember to rinse and dry them properly and a light spray with filter oil. The oily residue may well be coming from your throttle bodies, via your PCV valves. If they rae past their sell by, then oill gunk gets blown up into the plenum and everywhere else.
  22. should be fine mate, coolant shouldnt eat the cam belt (or else it would eat the rad hoses too ) :)
