yes it can be supercharged, I would start looking on the american zed sites, as far as I know, no one in the uk has done it yet
  3. Trust you to put up a pic before you put on all that weight pete :slap:
  4. thats a priime example by the look of it.

Yes I have a couple of files for the NA mate and if you subscibe (20 quid) i'll send you one for nowt, but socketing and burning the chip is extra :)
  8. ill tip my hat to you on that one MrP, I have used it many times, top job
  9. I dont put it on the bike, its in my wallet, but then again I never leave my bike where I cant see it , so Traffic Nazis are not a problem.
  10. congrats and commiserations
  11. 4040 (mrs) 4041 (me)
  12. Come on steve, we're looking for realistic solutions here, Paul couldn't possibly buy cheaper tyres thean the ones he uses :x:
  13. Hope you het this sorted bud, meets wont be the same. Anything I can do, givew me a shout.
  14. if I were tyou Karl I would leave the ignition timing set up to the ECU, which advances or retards it as required, if you add this thing in , the ecu will be making adjustments based on a presumed setting which could change at any time, with possible serious problems. Your car will be more than fast enough after its rebuild without addding something like this which could potentially cost you a fortune
  15. Sorry to hear your old man is being put through this mate, please give him all our best.
  16. or cut ou the third paryty and offer the soon to be divorcee some wedge for the car, but keep the zed. BTW package will be coming back to you this week, had a right giiggle :)
  17. I had a blinder, up first light got leathers on, mine and the mrs bike out the garage, down to a friends, blat along some nice roads to a transport cafe for the traditional gresy one and back home. Then, roof off the zed, fill her up with juice and shoot down to see Baggins and add another couple of hundred miles towards the 1000 miles im running her in after her recent rebuild (500 miles in, using the full rev range but only 7psi of boost) still managed to see off a couple of cheeky young chavs. Waiting for the day when I swich on my boost controller and start opening her up :)
  18. I have difficulty feeling sorry for anyone who has lived a good life to a good age and passed on. Thats probably flavoured by the fact, that as someone brought up as a roman catholic, I feel that an octagenarian who (allegedly) has never had sex in his life, to issue edicts on sexual behaviour to people, which arguably have cost millions of lives and an untold amount of suffering is a bit rich. my 2p
  19. That is the puppies bud, I really like that.
  20. I think they are liable, but as a lot of owners are not insured it means taking them to court for damages. Glad the dog is ok, but anyone who lets their dog run loose should be banned from having one.

worked for me, i believe they were having a bit of an out during the week, try again :)
  22. Id say hes probably got a bloody good grip by mow, if only in one hand :)
  23. I wonder, if they paid benefit in kind eg, put all the people in need of accomodation in the disused army barracks (apparently, even tho Blair the Bitch keeps kicking off in Bush's name, we dont needan army), and supplied them with three squares a day (nothing posh, but maybe Jamie would do a turn) and clothing (nothing with a label), no extras like fags or booze, mobiles or dogs, cars or bling (and defo no burberry) put bromide in the tea and contraceptives in their cornflakes, would people learn a work ethic? or have I been shaving my head too long? :)
  24. Well , as a TT driver who owned an NA (235 rwhp) on a chip, air intake and exhaust, I would say that it would be relatively easy to improve on the stock figures and take it to well within the reaches of a stock TT. My own personal choice of weapon would be: Chip, intake, exhaust, lightened pulley/ flywheel, ported intakes, headers. Put together correctly I see no reason why the above would not bring you into the same ballpark as a standard TT. Things to remember: the N/a will pull all the way to 7500 and beyond, and playing with timing and VVTC within the .bin file on your chip will have a for more beneficial effect on the NA than on the TT, especially in the higher reaches of the rev range, when the standard turbos have run out of puff. The most common chip for an NA is the standard Devin chip labelled 270.bin which will take advantage of a free air flow and exhaust, there are more meaty ones available, if you know the right people ;)
