2k banned, really? I had mine sprayed in 2K recently and no mention of anything from the bodyshop. The paint itself doesnt contain carcinogenics apparently its the hardener for the paint which does.

I have seen that before and can read it lol, it is a known fact thats how we recognise or interpret most things, like reading music, follows a pattern and you dont specifically read every note. My 7 year old, when we read a book with him has similar issues with certain words and will get some letters mixed up, but i believe he is still retaining the way he was taught letters in his first years at school, but he is getting better at recognising certain words by sight, rather than spelling out every letter in the word. When i type too fast, it looks to me like im dyslexic lol if i dont check it before posting :biggrin:

Ive never really understood that one lol, surely if your name is on the logbook then you are the legal owner, i had a lease van from Lloyds autolease and they keep the logbook as they are the legal owners, but i was able to drive it as long as i insured it and paid for the van lease, no other paper work aside from a contract, to say i was the registered keeper.

Mine passes down by the starter (outside), rather than between the gearbox and starter

I do know that the Motor insurance database is not an up to minute live indication of valid insurance, for eg: i had an insurance on the scenic changed to my new car and it remained on the MID for ten days before it showed as uninsured and i remember it took nearly 36 hours for it to show when i took out the insurance. I know it doesnt mean it was insured for that period of adjustment, just that it would still show on the database as insured, which is madness lol

I was told by the RAC man that sorted mine out that it gets refined/filtered then probably sold on, i doubt very much they could sell it direct, but would be interested in hearing the full cycle if he knows.

I had the misfortune one day to have to use that facility in my van :lol: i swore i put in diesel lol

The flasher unit is above the knee panel under the steering wheel, do you here any clicking from the relay? The hazard switch is a main part of the indicator loom, check that the plug on the rear of the switch is seated fully and also check the fuse in the drivers footwell.

You will need to remove the auto pilot bushing and place in a manual one, they are different sizes. There is info on the pilot bushing removal in the auto to manual conversion post in the faq section.

Engine is sweet as a nut ( at the moment) lol recently had a service, but the guy i got it from seemed a bit of a bullshitter to say the least so it will get another one. For eg: apparently it doesnt go into 5th until youre doing about 120mph :scared: He thought it was 4 wheel drive, because it left tyre marks from all tyres when flooring it :thumbdown: Its front wheel drive pillock So going to get it on some diagnostics to see whats going on with the gearbox, but im happy with it so far, it will do what i need it for until the zed is back on the road :thumbup1:

I feel there is a slight under power, seems to be a more gradual pick up engine than instant and i know what you mean Lexx, but i got an 03 plate for peanuts and its immaculate throughout, worth double what i paid and will be a reliable, reasonably fun workhorse for the time being. Traction control, cruise control, climate, elec sunroof etc.. Fuel tank is only 55 litre so end up filling it more often, but been ok today running around. Will post some pics up when it stop raining lol

While im rebuilding the Yellow zed and deciding where im going with the TT, i had to get rid of the scenic as it was falling apart and i hated every day of its ownership lol about 3 months and have now got myself another V6 toy. Hyundai coupe 2.7 V6 tiptronic, in silver, got all mod cons and feels like a brand new car, which im pleased about, but no where near the fun or the grunt of the zed lol
