  1. I bought a hide from ebay, and cut it out my self, re did the targa's and rear upper panels with it and looks like a good match. You will find it harder to manipulate the leather around the angles without being stitched, but people go for the leatherette or PVC which is more pliable.
  2. Hi Mate, I too hate hospitals, but at the end the day, they are they to help us. At least going private, you have the opportunity to get anything sorted a lot quicker if anything is wrong. I think we take our health for granted and assume we will all live forever, but life is short enough without worrying what might, or might not be wrong. Take some deep breaths and go to see the consultant with the attitude that he is going to give you an mot for peace of mind. Keep us informed of any advisories and hope all is clear. Best of luck Graham
  3. Its not imperative, unless there are obvious signs of wear or leakage, however, its best to replace what you can, while you have the front of the engine bay apart. You dont want to be taking it all apart again 6 months down the road, when you can get it out of the way in one hit. Water pump and thermostat not that dear to be honest so for the price, def worth replacing. Cam and crank seals for peace of mind, while the belt is off and the belt tensioners if they look worn. Best to speak to JeffTT about the pro's and con's, the guy does it for a living, so will be best to advise.
  4. I cant dance :nana2::dance::lol::lol:
  5. Nice one Grommit!
  6. :happybday: all the best :happybday:
  7. Mine is due just before JAE, but as usual will get it done sooner lol Nice one. Graham
  8. Welcome to the club, looks like its in nice condition. Enjoy!
  9. New wire if you can get to the terminals easily or join the old one and heat shrink.
  10. I would take the hole assembly out and away from the tank and leave the fuel residue to evapourate in the fresh air. Spray the wire terminals with a contact cleaner and solder. I would not use heat anywhere near the tank or fuel or as youve said Kaboom:hang::nuke::no:
  11. The auto box has its own ecu, so no longer required.
  12. Well done mate, looking good. im in the process of doing mine and it is a pig lol Worth it in the end though eh! Graham
  13. :happybday: Have a nice day :happybday:
  14. You want to make sure you order the H3 kit for the dip beam.
  15. Depends what it is IKe, we dont want you showing us up
  16. Happy Birthday Mike, have a nice day
  17. The 2 prop sections might be out of balance with each other. Sometimes turning the prop 180deg helps, by that i mean, undo the bolts on the rear diff so the prop is not connected, rotate and rebolt. For a one piece in a configuration you want, check out JeffTT's thread on one piece props. HTH Graham
  18. Welcome to the club, and as said, search for targa seals, common problem/fixes. New ones are about £178 per side from Nissan
  19. Its the vacuum pipe feed you will be missing on the balance bar on the N/A, you can T off another pipe to get the vacuum needed for the slutch booster. You wont need the tanks.
  20. Hi Barry, hope this helps http://www.greddy.com/upload/file/PRofec_e-01.pdf Graham
  21. As said by Gary, leave it a week or 2, then i would colr sand the paint with 1000 or 1200 wet and dry, to get rid of overspray and surface film, get some compound cutting paste on a mop, then buff, it should turn out well. You might find then though you will want to mop the rest of the car. All dependant though on how many coats of paint you put on. Be careful with the edges if colour sanding. Nice one! Graham
  22. :happybday: have a nice day :happybday:
  23. I take it you are referring to the clear corner company. Do they have the patent for the design? Do they supply just the led boards and at a competetive price? Having had a pair of clear corner 99 specs in to fix for a member, these are designed differently and with a proper printed circuit, rather than on copper backed perf board and no over the top variable resistors. It wouldnt have been cost effective, to send them back to the US and they were just out of warranty, so after trying to fix the original board, which was a lot more hassle, than it was worth, the idea to improve upon the original design was born, by a member who put a lot of time and effort into the new design. As enthusiasts, we strive to improve upon anything on the market that might save money and enable the UK guys to have access to mods that dont involve import duty. There are numerous people on the net making their own led lights or boards and as the clearcorner lights seemed to be marketed predominantly to the US, i dont see a problem, IMO of course. Constructive criticism is welcome and any issues you might have can be discussed, rather than having a dig. If you trade in zed parts, you should be happy that a product is available in the UK and made in the UK, surely a benefit all round.
  24. I know what you mean and it gets looks all the time wherever i drive, however one cheeky young kid, ( picture the scene) im sat at traffic lights, windows open and roofs off, and he says " are you gonna paint that mate" :blink:cheeky brat. If you look at my journal you will see what he's getting at, but generally i get the "nice car" shouted by kids as you drive past
