Did you manage to get the indicator sorted?

JAE pics
Once they are all up Dave, we will sort them into the relevent section to make it easier for browsing. If we put them in one section now, there may be repeats of the same pics, so best to filter them and create an easier promo post to read. Graham

Cheeky ******* Good to me you to mate, i have to say the beast is a credit to you, absolutely stunning. Cant wait to see your plans for next year:yes: I didnt expect to win anything to be honest, but nice to win something for my efforts on the car of late, even if it was in primer lol. People at least had the foresight to imagine what it will be like when it is finished and im just happy i was able to get it to the show. Thanks to all who voted, means alot. I should be dancing yeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

JAE outline
I missed out on JAE last year due to working, but really pleased i could be a part of it this year. The weather started off a little wet, but when youre there, youre there, you just get on with it. It didnt dampen the sprits, good banter, most enjoyable. A good turn out and atmoshpere, a plentiful supply of food and coffee, many thanks to Kim for hosting this event, a great job as always. A great size marquee to sit in later on in the evening. Of course doubled up as a garage for Jason's Beast, to keep it looking spotless for the show and shine, and gave us a nice light and sound show lol. Lots of news to come in follow up threads, with lots of pics too. A big thanks to JeffTT and Jaimie from Zedworld for the free consults and advice and of course adding to the line up of zeds with their stunning zeds:thumbup1: Any meet is a pleasure, as it gets the members and prospective members socialising and you get to meet some of the best characters around. Its a great shame a few guys and girls who were due to be at JAE couldnt make it in the end, hopefully next year will be the date not to miss. IanL and myself had a few ideas we would like to throw into the pot for next year to enhance the experience further, details to be discussed, but excited if we can pull it off. Many guys travelled a great distance to be there, some local, but a great effort for all who attended. Cars came and went over the course of the weekend, nice to see some new cars and faces. Lots of differences in the same style cars, make it more interesting and im sure many gained a few ideas for their cars. A couple of members gutted they couldnt make it in their cars, but still had fun being part of it. Good to see familiar faces and a pleasure to meet some new, i for one will definitlely be going next year, lots to see, lots to do and great for all the family, not just the petrol heads  Graham

Yes if you have an SD reader, ie theres one built into my laptop. I would happily buy a map, but its a lot to pay for one trip lol.

More poor quality work with pics
The club does not have any garage endorsements for the simple reason, that one member might have a good experience with a garage and another a bad one at the same place. Its common knowledge on this forum, who is trusted and capable of working competently on our cars, its down to the choice of the individual to make the decision. Its not just about the club making a recommendation, you might get a job that goes pear shaped, then come back and have a go. There are many threads on who to use and who to avoid. Graham

3 days to JAE so guess what!
I know the feeling mate, time has really crept up and bit me in the ass. I managed to get the car at least one colour, beige high build primer, not ideal but looks better than a rainbow lol.

Water pump removal...
No mate the water pump is seperate from the 2 pipes, Remove the 6x 12mm bolts and it will come off, remember its got gasket sealer and not a gasket so will need a pry or little clout.

Do not buy this bumper
I agree, Dave is always on hand, should you have any questions or problems. Ive looked at bumpers front and rear on fleabay many a time and been tempted and although any you buy might need a bit of fettling here and there, that is absolute pants.

windscren wiper issues
No worries mate. The little box you are looking for in the footwell, is called the TCU(time control unit) do a search bud, theres a few threads regarding your problem

windscren wiper issues
There is an amplifier for the windscreen wiper motor control, also there is a little box in the drivers footwell, behind the kick panel, that controls the intermittent wiper, interior light etc. These will be the 2 main culprits. The rear washer and front washers use the same bottle, but have seperate pumps, The rear wiper is the top row 4th fuse, the front wiper is 2nd row 5th fuse http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/fuse-translation.jpg HTH Graham

Hi mate, lots of us will be there, you can get a ticket on the gate no problem. It would be a real treat to see my car sprayed, but unfortunately it will be in primer lol ran out of time. But yes everyone knows that yellow is the best colour:smartass:

Bloody weather
Its the Japenese auto extravaganza, this weekend, we have a club stand. Im not going to rush for the finished example, but need to get it looking half tidy for the show. Not that im showing it lol, just dont want to have a junkyard dog on the stand, although it could be a first lol
-
Okies, done now, what do ya think???
Very nice mate, id be very pleased if mine comes out half as well. You must really pleased with the end results after all the hard work you have put in lol

thinking of selling:-(
As mentioned, more likely to be from the exhaust cam rear gasket rubber seal. Its a half moon rubber that sits where a vvt sensor would be, to visualise it. The rest of the gasket is liquid gasket/sealer. over time it will have perished or not tightened to the correct torque. You will need the plenum off to get to it though, a little involved but nothing too major. As Paul asked, where are you based, there may be someone who can help or advise. Graham
