  1. Pretty straight forward, most of the screws are the same for the panels, and there are some plastic screw/rawl plug affair for the plastic trim along the bottom of the glovebox.
  2. No worries mate, Jae this week and not here next week though on me hols lol.
  3. You need to take the trim off the bottom of the glove box to access the 10mm bolts for the hinges at the bottom of the glovebox, cos there are a couple of screws on the inside of where the box is to get to the side trim. It should then slide out, there is also the sliding catch you will need to manouvre or remove to get it all the way out. HTH
  4. Im still working away at the minute, not back till tommorrow, so will get cracking, but i can safely say it will be in primer. I would love it to be done, but time is ticking and im not going to stress about it lol. It will be there:rockon:
  5. :sweatdrop::sweatdrop::wacko: It will be proudly parked up lol, but it will be in primer. Who cares, im just going to enjoy it, the company, the cars. Im not stressing about it anymore, it goes however it looks:lol::lol: And Joely, we have to put up with you all year :lol::lol:
  6. As above, a few days early lol Transaction ID: 4XX31931JT9044146
  7. Welcome to the club, get some pics up when you can. Graham
  8. Sorry to hear that bud, not the best thing to happen at any time. They are not very good mates then, if they arent there for you. Women eh, cant live with them and you just cant live with them. Chin up and go for a drive to cheer yourself up. All the best Graham
  9. Happy Birthday mate, have a good day
  10. Yes he has been really busy with work and getting his car sorted. Im going up to see him thurs before JAE so will pass on your concern lol
  11. They are not running lights, they are the sidelights lol, the halos are on the fog switch so i have the option of both on at the same time or just the ones on the indicator housing.
  12. You wont have much room to manouvre as the fuel tank will be in the way, will have look at a few that have been done and see if i can see a way.
  13. Yep both share the same relay. By putting live to the stalk, you have bypassed the relay hence no flash, just stay on. The biggest cause of this usually is the hazard switch itself. The indicators will not work without it plugged in, so i would suggest you have a problem on the loom to the switch or the switch itself
  14. There may be a short somewhere, thats either taking the fuse out and relay. More likely the front and side indicators as sometimes water ingression can corrode the terminals in the bulb holders. Check the bulb holders at the front housings and the wing indicators. One more factor for the rear lights, there is a little black box on the right hand side behind the platic panel that covers the lights, not just the small cover but the whole panel. If it gets water in can rot the components on the board, this happened to mine and i lost my rear sidelights. Worth checking it, it comes apart by prising the lugs on the little box and the board slides out. Good luck
  15. Have you also checked the fuse in the drivers footwell? http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/fuse-translation.jpg
  16. At least its going though Paul, thats the only consolation for me lol. One year Turboz's car was multicoloured with a kit on it till it was sprayed.
  17. Thanks guys, i wasnt having a dig at anyone with the hole drilled and 1x 501 led in,,Kurt lol I just prefered a line.
  18. I know what you mean, some leds can look chavvy or not inkeeping with the vehicle. I could have gone down the drill a hole and 1 501 led in there, but because of the angle, i didnt think it would work. I ended up drilling 8x 5mm holes to accommodate the 5mm leds, wired in 2 banks of four. Hotglued once soldered, then black silicon compound. Can be done without taking apart, using a depth guide on the drill, but i had to take mine apart to clean as i had water getting into one of them and it stained the lens inside. There isnt much depth to do much else, you could use smd leds on a board, which is what clear corners use.
  19. Lol, i had just primered it before i put it back on, needs a bit more work, the whole car is going to be high build primer for JAE then into the sprayshop to be done properly when i get back. Just ran out of time lol
  20. Sounds like the air intake pipes for the cats. If you have decatted then no problem, but a picture would help lol
  21. Hi Pete, they show bright white, which is more than the 501 leds i originally had in my fogs, that failed. As long as it shows white light it will pass.
  22. No mate i never fitted the bumper, it was part of a package of parts i got together, so just sat in the garden, till you had it lol. Do you mean the valance of the car or the bumper?
  23. It seems the week for posting up pics of led sidelights, so heres a few of mine. Still cant get a decent pic yet of the halo's, maybe need more ambient light to take a photo.
  24. You might have to bend the hangers a tad to get it to move over, you might have already tried this, but fit the back box first, get it through the hole and see where it leaves you with the hangers, then fit the X pipe. HTH. If i had more time John i would come over and give you a hand, but working away the next 4 days, only leaves me 3 left to paint the car before JAE lol. Free in a couple of weeks, might pop over anyway, see how you are getting on.
  25. It doesnt matter if you do it for a living, still a top job, well done. I know what you mean about busmans holiday though lol
