new owner with new problems
On some models, they had a curb light, so when you indicate a white light in the same housing comes on, which is supposed to help see round corners lol. Lights the curb if there is one.

Clock Rings
Takes longer to go off, but should be fine, use black though or use something like bostick or uhu, more flexible glue. The new ones fron the zcentre apparently dont need to be glued, but thats only if you have a standard face. I have a carbon resin front, which is raised from the standard and had to be glued anyway

Clock Rings
I Have them and have fitted a fair few, just dont use super glue, too brittle when cold and with the vibration work themselves loose.

Import parts
Hi And welcome to the club. For new oem parts we MJP in the trader section or for seconhand parts, JeffTT also in the trader section. The hazard switch is a common problem. The 2 screw receptacles in the pod housing tend to get broken, by over tightening, if they are not too far gone, you can use some washers or rubber grommits to help space it back out again. If its shot, you can get a new one for £25, either MJP or the zcentre. HTH Graham

Cruise control faults
Hi Mate, didnt mean anything apart from the steering wheel and stalk was fitted, the cruise wouldnt be aftermarket, sometimes people add an aftermarket steering wheel or the air bag one, then discover they cant use the cruise control, so add the stalk or wheel boss with cruise buttons. I would take the steering cowl off and check the wires are ok on the plug from the stalk. Check the cruise control ecu in the passenger footwell, under the carpet next to the main ecu, it is marked as A.C.C.S, if all the wires look fine, then you may need to replace it, get a secondhand one from zedworld if needed. It could be wiring, actuator, pedal switch out of alignment. Take a read of this http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=140230&highlight=cruise+control

Cruise control faults
Is your speedo in kph or have you had a speed convertor fitted or UK clocks? 75kph is 46mph Im pretty sure that 92-93 didnt have the air bag steering wheel, 95 or 96 or convertible. 92-93 the cruise controls are on the steering wheel, it could be that the steering wheel has been added and the cruise stalk and not wired in properly

I'm getting a fish!! Any advice?
You put in normal tap water and use a water treatment and an additive to give the water the climate the fish can live in, clean the filter regularly and when changing for fresh water you do about a third of the tank with treated water again each time. Im sure you can get away with doing no treatment, but thats what the pet store insist we do before adding fish. They wouldnt sell us more than 2 small goldfish or 5 tiny things for the size of the tank. If you dont clean the water regularly or clean the filter, the water stinks.

Stalk? what year is your car? You cant set the cruise speed until around 45mph. Need a bit more info on the car to help with an answer.

dipped hid/ full beam at the same time
On the hid to the lamp, you have 2 spade connectors, on the black wire(ground) add another wire in the same spade and connect it to a bolt or screw on the bodywork, but make sure its a good earth point. You only need to do one side and it will enable the hids to be on when you have main beam on. You can add another ground link if you wish to the other side for good measure, but will work with one. HTH NB: when you flash, it will also ignite the HID's so to prolong lamp life, dont go over board with the flashing lol. There is another mod in the faq section to do a ground at the relay, which will stop the HID's flashing when you use the main beam, but the above is the easiest and quickest, 5min job

Maybe a silly question?
The auto box has its own ecu, so you can use the Main Ecu you already have. You can use the auto wiring, use your auto alternator, you will just need to make a couple of connections that differ http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=916979

help please
The heater matrix is right behind the dash in the centre. If you look down by your clutch pedal or if auto in the drivers footwell where the pedal would be, you will see a little black box, about 8"x4". Look behind the box and you will see a black cover, the heater matrix is behind there. Take a look at some threads (heater matrix) you can find what you need to know. Or look here, http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.341 HTH

slam panel measurements please (pretty)
I know you what you are referring too, i remember the thread. To be honest, as far as im aware, no one makes a one piece slam panel for the N/A and people like Daz might have some really good ideas for something different or similar, i dont think he will be treading on anyones toes or has the intention too. Take the chinese/japs lol they copy everything
