  1. Thread edited, just incase legal action is involved in your case.
  2. Ian is either working so fast, the camera couldnt keep up or he has had enough and his spirit is leaving his body. Nice work guys, Paul will be so happy when its done:bow::bow:
  3. Great news for you both, start training the kids early to carry on the zedworld legacy
  4. Here you go mate, its where i got mine from and its the same guy who does the armrest covers and gaitors http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LARGE-BLACK-LEATHER-HIDE-TOP-QUALITY-SEXY-LEATHER-/250503294814?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a5328ef5e
  5. This might help http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=144439
  6. Pliers to squeeze the tabs on either side of the clip, the clips are attached to the perspex strip, so if you are saving the strip, dont pull it lol
  7. The push button, in front of the lever is to take it out of gear, without the ignition on or putting foot on the brake to release the shifter. The limiter is there to protect the engine, but not a good idea to keep bouncing off the limiter though
  8. I so envy you, with the weather, im eventually going to live in spain, probably further south though, just love the climate and atmosphere.
  9. If your knock sensor has gone, it will be running in safety mode, ie lack of boost, speed. Occasionally can be corroded terminals in the plug ends, or duff sensor loom. If you test it again it might not show a code 34, which means you could have an intermittent connection and not a dead sensor. Disconnect your battery to reset the ecu, leave about an hour, reconnect, start engine for a few minutes then off, give the ecu a chance to re-learn settings. Do the test again with the software and see what it comes up with and go from there.
  10. cock **** is a dreamer lol, most of the women, still dont look good naked
  11. Lol yes, its the new yellow:clown: Its going to be like that for a while now though, got to change the engine and do the manual conversion. I know ive been saying it for ages lol, but its getting to the point where it has to be done and i would rather do it now cos i think the time is right, rather than having to do it cos something has blown up:sweatdrop:
  12. Haylands, Ryde. We should meet up sometime, be nice to see your car.
  13. Yep not many, there is a gry one in freshwater, off the road at the minute, grey in Northwood, off the road, a burgundy/red in Ryde, mine in Ryde, but in beige primer at the minute lol a black one near Binstead, pearl yellow in Bembridge. There used to be another black one in Ryde, but gone now. I never saw the white one on ebay driving around. What colour is yours and where on the island are you?
  14. I take it you were pleased with their work
  15. Try this section in the online manual http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=99&design=default&total=133
  16. Wise words Shamaz and how true, unfortunately we are all guilty of being sheep in one way or another at a different times. People believe what they are told, without thinking for themselves in most cases. This country has gone down the pan, but at least our students have had some back bone and demonstrated. However, as always, there were the minority who took it too far. It seems we have no direction anymore and lose focus on what is important. Yes you could blame the government, but the media dont help in anyway, theres no news unless its bad lol
  17. cool. pleased you got it sorted, nothing is ever straight forward on these cars lol
  18. If we did that in their country.... well you know what would happen :hang::death::censored:
  19. Even better if you have conzult, you can adjust the position of the needle and check for calibration on screen. Plug your clocks in with the front facia off, so you can touch the needle. Good luck.
  20. Do you still have the needle stop in place? You should be able to nudge the needle down to the stop and it should read OK, its only the speedo you have problems with.
  21. Drivers side lower middle of the gearbox. If your speedo is working, it is unlikely the speed sensor, i would concentrate on checking the switches behind the pedals. As suggested, if one is out of alignment or seized/broken, it wont allow the CC to be engaged.
  22. :happybday: Isaac, have a great day :happybday:
  23. No problems really, just a couple of crap jubilee clips, i used some of the Nissan pipe clips, which can handle a better torque on the 2" hose i used to reconnect the matrix pipes.
  24. been on too long no doubt to get it off without lifting some paint. Flat blade screwdriver, big enough to get in the groove. You can try heat, you might be lucky.
  25. Well finally done it today, took about 3 hours with the coffee and fag breaks. I still need to bleed the water system properly as im getting some intermittent heat, especially when stopped at traffic lights. I did the cut the pipes and hose mod, much quicker and easier than struggling in the engine bay. Had enough for now as its dark and cold, going to put the little bits back together tommorrow, but im really happy about getting this job out of the way, been putting it off for weeks now lol.
