  2. We need to see some more pics of your progress, so get a move on and that will give you your grand lol
  3. :winkiss: I usually make my own, or buy led strips 5m at a time, prism stuff is a little over priced, but it does the job if youre in a hurry or need something ready made. I live on here and ebay :tt2:
  4. You can also buy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LED-PRISM-DOOR-HANDLE-LIGHTS-BLUE-X-2-/370459095328?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5641153120
  5. Its an EL strip ( electro luminescent paper) that is powered by an invertor. http://www.glowhut.com for the strips and there is a member on here who has some spare invertors, will dig out his name. There are some threads explaining how to do it and here http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/illrp/illrp.html
  6. I found the side plates totally useless for my stereo, i just put the cage in the top din and opened the tabs, but needs supporting with another bracket at the rear.
  7. It doesnt reduce the sound that much out the rear, just helps the drone inside the car.
  8. Absolutely amazing, makes you want to go out and buy a decent camera lol
  9. http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=63&design=default&total=133 R/Y G/R If you have the window switch with illumination, then as you look at the back of the switch, its the bottom 2 on the right.
  10. Do you mean convert from your 2x single dins to a 2 din. They are quite rare, they are available in Japan, but trying to get them to ship here is the hard part. Some members have made their own, do a search. madmax, hellraiser, the beast etc..
  11. The mod you need is the second link in thread 2 for 92' onwards, instead of desoldering and moving the ceramic resistors, the board on the later series has smd resistors (surface mount) You will need to use a solder wick or desolder pump and do one end of the smd at a time, you may need a magnifying glass as they are very small.
  12. Paypal is instant and welcome back.
  13. Its normally the underdrive pulley (bottom on the crank) thats changed, has no timing marks on it and likely to be stainless colour or coloured. Unless some of the other pulleys have been changed. Get some pics up. 17. Just a renewal fee, it should show in your user CP anyway.
  18. Yep did this last week, i cut the pipes using a bosch all in one machine, which uses vibration/sonic waves for cutting. Nice clean cut using the half moon wheel. I then bought 1metre of hose from halfords cost £2 its 15.8mm internal diam. So its tight but can still be slid over the pipes. I cut off 2x 2" pieces and make sure you use good jubilee clips and not the halfords cheapies in a selection box. 2 clips per pipe. For added peace of mind i smeared some instant gasket over the copper pipe, but no too much, you dont want it getting into the inner copper pipe. Cutting the pipes made the job quicker, without having to undo the bolt from inside the engine bay. The other benefit of cutting the pipes: you can leave the cable on for the valve, you only need take the spring off. Getting the spring on is easier by undoing the retaining nut at the control side, lift out the hook part of the spring, place the spring end through the eye of the top of the valve mechanism first, then using ling nosed pliers, hook the other end of the spring back over the bolt in the retainer.
  19. Try jacking the front of the car up, it will give an incline and hopefully make it easier for the cat to rear out, its more likely to be scared of all the the things you are trying to do to get it out.
  20. You may have the belts for an aftermarket under drive pulley, which are smaller.
  21. You can get decats, with silencers from the zcentre, i found they helped reduce noise with my N/A. The x pipe on a catback also helps, i now have a mongoose cat back, which reduces the noise even more.
  22. Craig, check the relays and connections in your passenger kick panel. Where youve had your doors off etc for the respray, you might have a loose connection.
  23. :happybday: have a great day :happybday:
