  1. Hi Lorenzo, AndyP deals with membership payments, that havent gone through paypal, which updates automatically. How did you pay? bank transfer? Will try and chase it up for you bud.
  2. No, he used to be a long time ago.
  3. Best to buy a new one for that price, there is no garauntee that the ebay one will last a week or 10 years. At least a new one gives you piece of mind and after the ball ache of fitting one, you dont want to be doing it again a few years down the line.
  4. Youre right there Chris, its about 5mph out after 60mph. I was doing 75mph according to the satnav, the speedo read around 80mph.
  5. Thats what i thought, although im not too bothered as long as it lasts a few months till i do the conversion, which im sure it will.
  6. Most of them brake the speed limit then lol
  7. So are some HGV's lol. Why is it on a dual carraigway, one lorry decides to overtake another and takes forever to do it? causing a tailback of traffic in its wake. They are both limited to supposedly 65mph so unless the one in the inside lane is really struggling, i dont get it. But i do know what you mean lol, as a white van man driver
  8. Hi Vinny, nice to see your still around bud, glad things are on the up for you. Have a good xmas and new year. Dont be a stranger. Graham
  9. Although you may have vibration, it will be safe. Mine used to vibrate, but then deteriorated. The rubber goes and your left with just the mounting ring. The prop wont come off, just bang a little on pulling away, but i would recommend not to let it get that bad and replace as Gary suggested with a one piece, when you get the chance. These things can vibrate for years before anything happens so i wouldnt worry about it too much at the moment.
  10. The sensor tends to get blocked over time, most fit an aftermarket oil press gauge. A new Nissan sensor is around £70. Drain the oil and put some fresh in to the correct level. Too much oil is not good, depends on how much oil over the max you have in, but if you have over filled, it can cause all sorts of problems, the oil needs to move freely, if there is too much oil, it can blow seals, foam, hydrolocking. Get it out and start again.
  11. :happybday: Have a great day :happybday:
  12. I had a banging from under the car for a while and suspected it to be either the gearbox mount or the centre prop bearing. After obtaining another front prop piece from slick pete:bow: I took it to the garage to get sorted this morning. I can tell you that my centre bearing, no longer had a bearing  completely gone, just the ring left lol. So after the new one fitted, banging gone. I have a bit of vibration now  but i think a turn 180deg may sort it out, but im not too bothered about it for the minute. Will wait till the weather gets a bit better and do it myself rather than going back to the garage. I took a spare new gearbox mount with me too just in case, but that was fine. Cant wait to do the manual conversion and stick my new single lightweight prop on, then wont have that problem again:balloon:
  13. Welcome to the club and hope you enjoy your new zed. Plenty of info and advice available here, so if you have any questions or problems, just post em up. All the best Graham
  14. More than likely the door barrel keeps turning! Has been a few with this problem, do a search for door lock. http://www.ttzd.com/tech/doorhandletech.html
  15. Ive got limo tints on my rear and rear quarters and looks fine. I know what you mean though, i had some darker tint front side windows and like you couldnt see bugger all at night, but looked cool during the day. And with the targa shades it felt like i was in a coffin
  16. If it passed the MOT they cant have been that dark. 75% of light must pass through the side windows in front of the B pillar, which is a very light tint. If you think they are illegal, but passed the MOT then somethings not right there lol
  17. Here you go mate http://www.carcooling.co.uk/products/Heater_Matrix_Nissan_Primera_P10_All_cc_1990_96_06_90_10_96_Primera_I_Saloon_Hatchback_Man_Auto_152_185_32mm_16DN302-68654-2652.html
  18. Happy Birthday Andre, have a nice day
  19. both of them? there are 2 on the top pipe. dont think its the water pump, they would have replaced it, if it was on its way out, but to be honest i would have replaced it as part of the job, you dont want to have to get in there again if you can help it lol Most likely an electrical fault, the temp gauges from my experience are fairly stable and give a reading that would indicate normal running, but a few peeps go for aftermarket temp gauges to get a more accurate reading. You can check the wire on the right hand sensor , with one wire, thats the temp gauge sensor
  20. I would say it was the temp sensor, check for corrosion on the plugs of both sensors on the top water pipe. You probably havent got an issue with the sensor that goes to the ecu or you would have some running issues, if not the plug then the sensor may be misreading and would need replacing. Did you have this issue before the work was done, re thermostat and rad change?
  21. Its down the garage, will have a look later tonight and get back to you, got it from halfords, so easy to get hold of.
  22.:lol: I didnt realise you were doing the dash Gary, could have given you a little tip i found most useful. I bought an epoxy two part glue, that mixes itself when you press the plunger and because it looks like a syringe, i stuck some windscreen washer pipe or similar, about 6 inches, so you bend the pipe to the angle to get it under the lifted parts of the dash as you press the plunger, simples :turned: You could have used tennis balls wedged under the window to a straight edge to hold it down while it sets overnight, however you could have still used your scaffold technique :tt2:
  23. Thanks for all the comments, a few more mods on the horizon lol
  24. I cant believe this bloody weather. I was in Birmingham yesterday and the roads were clear, got back to the island at 5:45am this morning and it started to come down. Within 2 hours the car was covered the roads undriveable. So gutted, i booked and paid for my ferry ticket in advance to get it cheaper lol A wise decision though Jeff, such a shame, but at least we can still have a meet in Feb.
  25. Well Andy i happen to have 2 spare lol. They are from a Renault Laguna, bought 4 as a sale/deal.
