  1. You can cover the panels etc, in whatever you like, take the old tweed off and use as a template. The liklehood of getting an interior you want second hand and unmarked/faded is fairly rare.
  2. I think the UK zed had one pre cat, passenger side, from the manifold, before the down pipe. Will try and dig out some more info
  3. Write ups are always beneficial, i can stick it in the faq section for others to use as a guide. And any pics of some of your custom audio builds will be nice to drool over lol Cheers Graham
  4. The exhaust if standard is in 3 sections from the down pipe, 4 if TT. You might just have heat shields covering the flanges. http://www.z32photoguide.com/exhaust.html You replace the cats, when fitting new down pipes.
  5. Hi Paul, happy new year to you, glad youre keeping well and stay in touch. Graham
  6. Ok, but i have an NPT threaded oil pressure sensor, that fits a sandwich plate as its NPT, but after taking one of the feed bolts from the oil filter housing, it feels like its going to strip. I tried an adaptor bolt that came with the sensor, it fits smoothly on the threads of the sensor, but is slightly loose initially on the bolt from the oil filter housing. Indicating to me that its not the same.
  7. Ive had a a couple of these units and are fine, the eonon is like a lot of products that come out of Hong Kong, most are made by one company and farmed out to other business under their own oem name and it wouldnt surprise me if they were the same as some big named units, give or take a few parts lol to hit a broader market.
  8. :happybday: have a great day :happybday:
  9. I have an amp i wont need if youre interested. Will take some pics tommorrow. Its about a 1000w, i used it in my van install before i changed vehicles, so is really good condition. I have a powered blaupunkt sub so wont be using it.
  10. Nice clean manual N/A, enjoy!!!!
  11. To reach the insid of the projector lens, get a thin paintbrush or similar and put a bit of cloth taped on the end. Use an alcohol based cleaner or good glass cleaner on the cloth only and not too much.
  12. In the post mate
  13. Brilliant........ but you would be arrested in this country now for doing that, PC gone mad lol
  14. You must be on the pop quite a bit then :lol:
  15. I doubt very much whether you will get hold of just the clear lense. They are a sealed unit complete ( could be seperated, but will probably crack) and for the price, really not worth the effort
  16. If you look at the description, states its for UK but only has 2 bulb lugs (jap) Either way , no big deal to modify http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-CLEAR-SIDE-REPEATER-INDICATORS-LIGHTS-NEW-/110613496147?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19c1140153
  17. Yes they did, no problems
  18. They are a direct replacement
  19. The blue circle is around the aiv, you need to block this pipe off before the "T". I used a bolt and cable tie. Have a read through this, will explain all about it. http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/137858.html
  20. I like Jimmy, i met and worked with him in Paris a few years ago, he is the same off stage as he is on. Almost like what you see is what you get. Nice guy.
  21. Hi Mate, i got them from a member on here, i just sold another set. They are available from one of the american sites, Z1, or concept not to sure which one. I would put up a thread in the wanted section and see if there are anymore around.
  22. Ahh, youre better off using 2 seperate switches for the heated seats. i have had all the different permitations of mirror switches apart to see if its possible to marry them up, the seat heater buttons are integral to the circuit board, so either way you would lose one or the other functions.
  23. They will be under the carpet, next to the cross member under the seat. They are fed with a 30amp fused supply, so i dont see why you couldnt tap into the seat feed ( assuming its not been cut off)
  24. You only need to cap the pipes on the exhaust. And put a bolt and tighten in the vac tube from the aiv, drivers side. Cut, fold and weld or go to the plumbing shop and get some 22mm? pipe end caps.
  25. Slowly lol, i keep starting projects and not finishing them lol. Still down the garage alot polishing bits for the replacement engine, but need better weather to do much else on the interior and bodywork.
