  1. :happybday: all the best Jason, have a great day :happybday:
  2. Thats why i asked about any mayo in the oil cap. You could get a sniffer test done, which tests the gasses in the water, hopefully it will be thermostat seized closed.
  3. Thermostat could be the culprit. To be honest the matrix bypass, when i did mine, had a bit of a kink in the pipe, but the engine didnt get any hotter by it, the front pipe is still flexible even when hot, so you may have a blockage. Did you flush the engine through, when you replaced the rad? Check your dip stick and oil cap for discoloration or mayo, just in case.
  4. If they do flash faster, you can use a load resistor across the 2 wires of the bulb supply to act as a dummy load/bulb
  5. you could have an airlock, did you bleed the rad when up to temp, when you replaced it?
  6. :happybday: have a great day :happybday:
  7. Only if the car has been lowered and adjusted accordingly, if its still standard ride height then you will only need to replace the one, however, like shocks etc, its always best to replace in pairs, same axle.
  8. You can still post pics as a registered user. Photobucket is probably the easiest way. And by the way i have an N/A and its not slow lol, but i would still like a TT for the extra oomph for the bigger grin factor.
  9. Thats good. Although you will have no heat in the car, at least you can still drive it, till you sort the matrix. You will find that you will still get steamy windows on start up, just use the aircon to clear it. Not the best time of year lol, hope you get it sorted soon, theres lots of info on here, as quite a few of us replaced the matrix recently.
  10. This is what you are after, excuse the crude paint shop lol
  11. There are only 2 water hoses that go into the bulkhead, follow them back to the engine and it will be obvious. You can leave the hoses on at the matrix end/bulkhead, just pull them off the pipes on the rear of the engine and as said, use some hose and connect one pipe to the other creating the loop. The water is only flowing around the engine once bypassed.
  12. Glad youve found your love for it again mate, i know it can be frustrating, when things arent how you want them to be. I though it always looked smart, but even better now. Enjoy! Graham
  13. The 2 pipes at the rear of the engine, just behind the plenum, where the hoses come off and go into the bulk head. You need a length of hose to create a loop, u, shape which bypasses the matrix.
  14. Hi Lorenzo, there is a back log for the members packs, post another reminder in the club membership and enquiries thread, im sure Isaac will sort it for you. Welcome back. Graham

  19. For example my 99 spec front indicators look smoked, but the lens is actually clear, the internal housing is black, giving the effect of smoked. side indicators can be smoked, but again as long as the light is visible, should be fine. Dazvert has used a tint on his front sidelights too to give the stealth look. I think the rule of thumb is that as long as the light is clearly visible and bright enough to operate as it should, then you will be ok. We have a couple of MOT testers on the forum that could give you the definitive answer. If in doubt do a google search or check out the dvla website for the legalities.
  20. Rear lights are fine as long as the reflector is visible when the lights are off and obviously the bulbs are bright enough to shine through the lens. Im not sure you can tint the front headlight glass, legally. You can have a blacked out casing to give the effect of tinting inside the housing, but not the glass, just done a google search for both.
  21. No point unless running serious power. There are some threads on the subject, if you do a search
  22. Good that they are sorting it for you.
  23. Bank transfer can take between 3-5 days, do you remember what day you sent the payment?
  24. The one given in the link will be spot on, most of us including me got it from them and fits perfectly. I think you may have just been unlucky.
