Looking at the picture, in the heater matrix removal thread, the brass cover on the end of the cable sits in the clip, akin to brakes on a pushbike, the clip stops the cable moving when the wire inside slides back and forth.

I would put the power steering pot under the centre headlamp panel like Douglas has, you might not need to extend the pipes either.

They do work off the same button as the rear window demist, but it may have its own relay, it will be behind the fuse panel in the drivers footwell, if it does. Not many questions or info on the heated mirrors, maybe Jeff or Yowser will know.

Air induction kit, uprated intercooler, boost controller, no point in bigger injectors, without internal mods to support the power. It depends how far you want to go within the limits of stock. Safely or at the limit. Do a few searches on power upgrades, should yield a few answers that match your requirements

Mine is still an auto and they fit, you wont notice a great deal of difference in performance without other suporting mods, air intake etc. To be honest, i felt it went better left well alone, stock, but thats just me lol. I only got rid of the cats at the time cos one was rattling, so had a knackered cat, it still passed the mot though. If you want to save a few quid, you can gut your cats and keep the pipes you have.

Chip mapping should be done properly by an expert who knows what they are doing, John Dixon for one. It is then mapped to match the mods done on your car and not just a general map. Your ECU needs to be socketed to accept an aftermarket chip, before you do anything. IMO it would be more cost effective to get it done right. List the mods you have on your car to give an idea on the type of settings you will need for a chip.

Bloody hell mate, youre not having much luck lately with the zed. Glad your all ok, i think the panel can be pulled out and made good if no scructural damage has been done, a workshop who have one of those intelligent repair systems or drill holes, screw and a dent puller. Hope you get it sorted, exhaust tips can be welded, new rear light and bumper, then a spray up, no fun though when you when getting so far down the line to completion.

I think it runs from the bottom of the seat belt clasp along the tunnel under the centre console

I have an N/A auto( soon to be manual) I had the japspeed decats and catback. I found the decats a little loud, so bought the decats with silencers from the zcentre and was a little quiter, especially inside the car. It passed the mot no probs with noise. I have since got rid of the japspeed catbacks and now have a mongoose fitted, much quieter and a nice sound. Now the japspeed fitted my auto fine, but i sold them on to maz jones and he couldnt get one side to fit on his auto, so i would say they fit a manual much easier, but thats just my experience. If you are looking for a little quieter set up, i would get the decat pipes with silencers from the zcentre for the little extra money.

I went to a couple fo jewellers for some prices of secondhand rings and a couple of necklaces. One of them went on weight alone, regardless of what it looked like, but another small backstreet guy gave a better price for the rings. Although gold has a high scrap value at the minute, its still nowhere near the value you would get buying say a new piece from a jewellers. IMO jewellery is not an investment worth considering even at the high end of the market. Only the other day i saw a £17K Rolex go for £5K after 7 years, what is the point? lol
