  1. Probably some form of air lock, if you were turning it over with the green fuses out then the fuel pump wouldnt have been priming so i doubt you flooded it.
  2. Its unlikely a used unit will come with the gasket unless you asked for it. You can either get a new one from MJP or use a bit of liquid gasket sealant when you replace the new one. There are 2 screws take it apart
  3. Ok bud, dont worry about the power light, it will only come on when gassed hard or foot down. Dont start the car with your foot on the accelerator and dont rev it just before you turn off. Idle is too high: how did they clean the throttle bodies? a) if they only cleaned with a rag, then the likelyhood that any oil residue in the plenum will have worked its way into the idle control valve over time and it would need taking apart to clean. b) if they used a carb cleaner then it might have cleaned the throttle body, but any crap forced into the plenum again would end up clogging a breather pipe or IACV. I think it points to the idle control valve.
  4. Wow, i didnt realise mate, i cant imagine what you must have had to deal with through it all. I know what you mean about the bag, but will you not be in less pain with it? Are you able to control when you go with it, or is just whenever nature takes its course? I dont think theres an easy answer, but im surprised theres nothing more to try, medically. What are the long term effects of the antibiotics?
  5. Its actually caked in dust, im sure they wouldnt go to all that effort and do a B&Q paint job on it lol
  6. Probably not mate, but if you put your user name in the search bar at the top, you should be able to see all posts by you or involving your car, i did a quicky back to 2003 so you might have info there you need. Also click on your user name, view public profile and see all the threads you started. HTH Graham
  7. Theres also this, which looks a little better
  8. Im good Dave, still pressing on with make over lol. I think we all have pics of your car on our harddrives lol, but alas not all the info of the mods. Cheers Graham
  9. Hi Mark, like many of us here, we feel your frustration and in an ideal world first dibs would suffice. Having said that, it is up to the seller on the terms he states in a for sale thread upon how he wants to operate that sale, if someone PM'd the seller before your dibs is seen and made an arrangement for that item, then he is likely to be bound by the arrangement made through PM over the first dib. It can be frustrating and it probably feels unfair, but unfortunately thats the way it goes sometimes. A seller must really make clear how he wishes the sale of items to proceed to prevent confusion or ill feeling. Cheers Graham
  10. Done the pics for you, nice looking zed, enjoy. Graham
  11. Hi Dave, i think i may be able to answer your question. You have edited your ride section to the silverstreak, so you must have deleted all the details in your original ride section for the yellow zed. Have you not got any of the details on your hardrive? Cheers Graham
  12. +1 nice job there Daz.
  13. Use a H3 and use a couple of inches of wire to earth to the bulb holder housing, that way you never have to try and source H3C's again. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=27029
  14. If you have never been to a concert before, im sure you will enjoy the experience and atmosphere, the only drawback is the hussle and bussle of the crowd, but if youre not bothered by it, should be good.
  15. Check your jack tools in the boot, if one of the bits are loose in the tray, it will bing lol
  16. I know what you mean mate and silver is actually my favourite colour, but having it yellow will be slightly different as there arent that many yellow ones. When the car and engine bay is painted the same colour it should all come together nicely.
  17. Cheers mate, look forward to seeing it.
  18. New parts as mentioned MJP Secondhand/used parts JeffTT of Zedworld
  19. That is just silly and fugly lol
  20. I see what you mean, i will put a note over in the mod room for the attention of Admin.
  21. There should be no reason you cant, ive just had a look and can edit it, so you should be able too. Go to your vBPic gallery pivs and next to where it says your rides, there is an edit button.
  22. Anthonyd's http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=150516&highlight=flocked
  23. Heres one, not a great write up to be honest http://www.ttzd.com/tech/dooraligntech.html The same, but better looking page lol http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.505
  24. Do you have any yellow hose sample you could send to see the colour match? Anything will do, even a scrapped bit. Cheers Graham
  25. Thanks for all the comments, the chip will be sorted soon and im hoping i dont do any more damage getting it in the car lol. Will take some more pics this afternoon and post up Andy Long way to go to match yours vinz, but youre right yours does look like a skip:lol::lol: Yes Anthony will need some new silicone hoses, still havent decided on yellow or black, i suppose it depends on the shade of yellow, whether it will clash or not.
