  1. Hi Craig, as you look at the dash the positive feed is the left screw, ground right screw. You will be able to dim the gauges when wired to those 2 terminals. You can take a feed from your stereo supply for the live of the gauges.
  2. :happybday: Many happy returns, have a great day :happybday:
  3. Hi Andy, play on words lol, I thought you owned your own business, on a good year i would normally work 6-8 days a month now at best its 3-4 at worst 0-1 so although im enjoying the time off, i miss the big bucks lol. Run a feed across the front of the roof panel, just pull the rubber around the targa drivers side, gets you to the pillar nicely, i used a pull through wire to get past the dash and ran it across to the auto selector illumination and terminated there. I did add a ceramic 3 watt 33ohm resistor to the leds to dim them as they would be too bright in your peripheral vision.
  4. You would normally have a remote lead to the amp from the head unit, not sure how it would work with the car pc.
  5. Is that to make your engine quieter and louder lol
  6. Everytime i tell Phutmunch beats me to it  so all will be revealed at JAE
  7. My momo has no buttons lol, but i have some other little ideas.... :winkiss: But i guess you want them, hence the statement:cool3:
  8. Tell me about it lol, really quiet on the work front, so spend most of my time on the zed.
  9. Well i got bored, so put some leds in the map light switch and a little strip to glow through the vent where the little fan would be, except mine has never had the fan so had the space. Not the best pics, need a better camera lol. They come on with the side lights. Then i though i would have a play with led strips and might go with it. I will do the front footwells and it should all tie up nicely with the Stainless EL sills to go in,
  10. Tie cotton round it to stop the blood circulation, it will come off after about a week, but does get sore before that happens. I was told not to cut them off as it may never stop bleeding, i suppose it depends how big it is and the time its been there.
  11. Its not a custom system, they cut your old boxes off and fit their own back boxes. I bought 2 rear boxes for £50 each a couple of years ago and paid £60 to have them adapted to fit.
  12. You reckon lol, 2 backboxes, £50 each off ebay, so he is charging £150 to fit, i dont think so.
  13. Used long nose pliers initially to get to some of the rings as they were really tight in there. Then once i new i wasn't going to re-use the rings i got some cutters to em.
  14. I recovered my rear seats today, and got rid of all the hog rings and used cable ties, much quicker, easier, but ive still got a huge blister from the pliers lol
  15. :happybday: all the best, have a great day :happybday:
  16. FAQ is your friend, you lazy git :lol: http://www.websure.co.uk/car/300zxretrim.htm
  17. Thats not fully blended in, so not so bad with the panel line.
  18. If its all blended in to the body, i would say you are going to need to get the rear resprayed after you get the panel off. When i fitted mine, i used some sikaflex, p40 and p38. No way its coming out in one piece lol. You would need to sand down to the filler to get the join line, before getting to the cutting out stage. Good luck.
  19. :happybday: Have a great day, all the best :happybday:
  20. Stena and Irish, similar prices bar a few quid. Not going now as with the fuel to drive up to Holyhead and back to Portsmouth and the ferry fare, too pricey.
  21. That means it would have to go back to Toad i take it? To be honest, when i got the car the alarm didnt work properly for the boot and now the microwave sensors are fubarred, So its only partially working. Options i suppose are to buy a new Toad, or get mine fixed, i bet it wont be much cheaper for the fix either.
  22. Moved to own thread to stop clogging the other one lol
  23. Do i have to have the pin code to do that though? thats the main problem, no pin.
  24. Ive found the white wire for windows to close, so i guess that will give me the closure im after. My led is red only, but it mentions it goes green, mmm, maybe mines an older software version.
  25. Lol, i know, just wanted to know if there was an update for the new ones, it doesnt mention total closure, unless it doesnt have it or i have missed it in there.
