  1. Your not finished Paul, you got to cut and polish to finish, you can just leave the lacquered finish as is, over time its likely to get grim ingress and also wet sanding with a fine grade, 1200-2000 then buff will make them shine like nothing and easier to clean over time:thumbup1:
  2. Looking good, now need a few coats of lacquer to finish them off
  3. I bought the same wheels ages ago for mine Daz, look forward to seeing them fitted, mine wont be on till later in the year :thumbup1:
  4. Wifi senders are probably the most well known, although i had a set up that didnt work and sent it back, one of the units didnt power up  But when working should do the trick, you take your sky remote to bed with you and change the channels by pointing the remote at the sender, which sends, wirelessly to the receiver near your skybox
  5. Nice pics Lee, i like the big yellow truck
  6. Great painting mate, i wouldnt expect anything less lol
  7. Unbelievable, you spent longer building her than driving  All the best with your wedding Dan, must have been an offer you couldnt refuse

  9. Congrats on the new addition to your family, enjoy
  10. Believe me we have some of the biggest kids in the club including me sometimes and im 48 lol, i guess its all about timing, which unless you are a comedian comes with a bit more experience
  11. At least it was warm rain though, once the sun went down today the temp dropped
  12. Ali you bring the average age group of the zed owner down a bit so not all bad :thumbup:
  13. +1  :lol:not the up yer arse bit obviously
  14. Can i ask that the parties ONLY, involved, reply. Any other digs not related to this particular thread will be deleted. By leaving the thread open allows those involved to air their grievances and hopefully get answers to aid in resolving the issue, others jumping in with comments is not necessary unless directly involved or affected. The whole thread can be copied and tidied up if requested. Many thanks
  15. Hi Kev, that statement isnt really just, if you have had an issue with a trader, firstly try and sort it out with the trader, then if no recourse, post up your experience sticking to facts only. Its mud slinging and one sided bitch slapping that we wont tolerate  a fair detail of unresolved issues or bad experience is welcomed to help forewarn other members from the same fate. Also if we are unaware of issues with any of our traders, we cannot help to resolve them. Cheers :thumbup1:
  16. Just look at the sunshine, even when the sun shines here, its nothing like that lol
  17. Happy Birthday Ash, all the best
  18. Welcome back Dave, what have you missed?....... about 4 years
  19. Ive never seen it to be honest, you will have to trace it back to see anything obvious, it may also be the inhibitor bypass, if you had a manual conversion in the past, this would normally be in the arch liner
  20. Welcome to the club, nice looking zed you have there
  21. Looks like the fusible link from the small fuse box near the brake master cylinder on a right hand drive car, i take it yours is a left hand drive? Although the wires look too thick for that. Check the fuse box in front of your battery, take off cover and see if the fuseable link is there

Nice pics Ian, a good broad section of cars there
  23. At the end of the day as long as its shiny and all one colour, no one really looks that closely at it to notice any peel or the odd imperfections. You know they are there ( most of us do now lol) but you should be very proud with what you have achieved and enjoy the fruits of your labour
  24. Its not just fold and unfold though is it lol, mirror glass tilt up and down, in and out, then the fold in and out, so with a live feed and shared earth to all. You could join the wires and either use a meter or touch each one to get the right combination with the switch or cut the the plug with a length of loom from your old mirrors and splice to the new ones so you can still unplug them if need be.
  25. Some where heated and some not, hence the plug, i had the same issue when i changed mine.
