  1. Hi Chris If you mail me, i will give you all the info you require and go from there. Cheers Graham
  2. Hi Bud and welcome to the club, you need to be subscribed and ask permission to advertise a business. I think you have something fantastic to offer the club and would appreciate you going about it in the correct way. Please dont be offended, we are a friendly bunch, but the rules are there to protect everyone. Look forward to hearing from you groover@300zx.co.uk Cheers Graham
  3. Its not a diode, its a resistor. R10 on the back of the speedo board is the resistor to be replaced, here is a link for part of what you need to do http://pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.323 I think the resistor you need is a 10k ohm, but will check.
  4. I would earth the ground wire to the rear of the speedo (screws) it appears you may have an bad earth to the body
  5. To do it properly, as per link, for a quick fix to stop the HIDs going off when you use high beam, just add a ground wire to one side of the ground on the plug to the HID bulb. The only drawback with the quick fix is that your HID's will also come on when you flash someone.
  6. Meister R has not resubbed his trader fee, so is no longer trading on this forum unless he gets in touch.
  7. I think all the REO's should be involved in helping out this year, its too much for one person to do alone, BBQ, PR, etc, not just the setting up or organising.
  8. Im sorry i have to disagree, there isnt one Nardi wheel in that collection i would put on my zed, they have nothing appealing about them, to me anyway lol
  9. Happy Birthday John, hope you have a great day Graham
  10. Dry joint on the speedo board around the R10 resistor area, very common problem. Re flowing solder over the tracks can sometimes cure the problem. It can be worse in winter months where everything in the car is cold, you will also find once the heater has been on and helped warm the dash area the speedo works again, along with a bang on the top of the dash. If thats the case then deffo dry joint.
  11. Check the wiring to the plugs on the rear of the speedo, the signal gets sent to the gearbox via the speedo, which will also affect your power steering. Also likely you may have a dry joint on the speedo board itself.
  12. No the speedo wont affect the gears not selecting. If your TPS is out of range then that will affect gear changes as you drive along, but not actually getting it into gear.Sounds like its in limp mode, check your fuse in the drivers footwell, might just sort your problem, AT controller fuse as shown on this panel
  13. The zed, has an interference engine, which means when the belt snaps there is the likelihood of the valves hitting the pistons.
  14. Happy Birthday Jason, have a good one
  15. All the best Mark hope you have a great day:happybday:
  16. I agree Mark, great to move forward and unite the community, get the meet numbers bolstered and have fun, its what we all want to happen. Looking forward to meeting up with you again at one of the meets. Cheers Graham
  17. Happy Birthday mate, hope you had a nice day.
  18. Happy birthday mate, sorry to hear the grim news, i hope all goes well and hope to catch up with you soon.
  19. Only Admin can do that, ive posted over in the committee room so it can be done, shouldnt be a problem
  20. Keep the overdrive button off and it will stay in third.
  21. As Richard mentioned about brembo, im using pads and discs made by brembo and seem fine so far, but for a low budget you cant go far wrong. If you want great brakes then you need to look at a size upgrade.
  22. Pay £75 or £150 and it doesnt make a lot of difference, i have bought at both prices and found neither better or worse than the other, but depends if you want discs for track use or standard driving.
  23. Apart from the calipers at the minute, there are no badges or anything that says Nissan. Having different rear lights also helps with the mystique lol, i dont mind telling them what it is once they have had a good look and cant work it out.
