  1. Tried it - you were right! It was the bonet being open causing the boot light to stay on. Many thanks mate - I owe you a pint! :duffer:
  2. The bonnet WAS open! You might be right.  I've got an alarm whihc goes off if the bonet or boot are opened so maybe they're linked in some way now? I'll check tomorrow. (I did take the bulb out as a temporary measure!)
  3. Hey folks The light in my boot's staying on when I close the boot. I guess there's a litle switch somewhere that's sticking? Any idea where it is? Or do you think the problem could be something else? Cheers! :nana2:
  4. Good luck with it - have a blast on the gas and air yourself if you get the chance. ;)
  5. I was thinking about selling it - although I'm not sure. We've got the baby now - it's not the most family friendly car! It's unusual as it's a genuine 1999 car with all the 1999 spec refinements (different front and rear bumpers, lights, white dials, stiffer chassis, uprated brakes etc etc etc) 300ZX Z32, genuine 1999 car, NA, auto, 2+2, targa, very nice late spec fabric interior. Standard and mint except very nice 18" wheels, Apexi intake and stainless twin exit exhaust. Original Skyline metalic purple, 63,000 miles, full (specialist) service history since it's been in the UK. So.... what's it worth? A couple of 1999 BMWs for interest/comparison: Parkers puts a 1999 E36 3-series 2.8 auto coupe at £4660 and a 1999 2.8 auto E46 at £7300 (both private sale, good condition).
  6. I'm a 2WD Sapphire Cosworth with quad headlight conversion.
  7. You jammy barsteward! Please for you really mate - nice one. :D
  8. Looks like postman pat's van. WHy not drive your 300?
  9. I bought some (lightly used) KYB adjustable shocks with Eibach springs (20mm lower). When i get them fitted, will I need to do anything else like fit a camber correction kit? My car's on 18" wheels. Thanks in advance! :hyper:
  10. Just saw 'The 50 Greatest Comedy Sketches Ever' on C4. I think 3 or 4 Enfield ones made it in. Impressive.
  11. So Britney Spears (or whoever) has to wait slightly longer for a new private jet? Not a big deal IMHO. I think they make money from other sources / concerts / brand extension anyway these days.
  12. He was king of the post whores on here at one stage.
  13. Jesus wept. I'm only joking. I can't edit it.
  14. Anyone know where I can get a good new one, preferably OE? How easy are they to fit? Can a chimp do it with only a penknife (my mechnical ability level). Cheers peeps!
  15. Mine came with a sort of dark mirror tint as standard on the read screen and the little triangular ones. It's much lighter on the door windows. The dark tint of the rear screen makes the car look far better from the front than a car with a lighter tint or clear windscreen. Not got a good pic that shows it on this computer.
  16. That's the one. Awesome. (I'd paint it another colour though if it was mine).
  17. I'd complain to Oftel or someone like that. They're outrageous charges.
  18. Sorry to see the damage Dave. :(
  19. Just make sure it's not this bloke:
