I need two new rears. Blackcircles.co.uk will do Falken 452 for about £115 each including fitting at a local place. (265/35 ZR 18) They're marked 'reinforced' though. According to their website this means they're suitable for heavier vehicles. I guess the 300's quite a heavy car but not that heavy. Will they be ok on my 300ZX? Any ideas?

I recon some performance diesel engines are better than some petrol ones these days. Massive low down torque. I'd love a BMW 335d touring (family man these days!) but I couldn't anything like afford one. And I'm not selling my Zed anyway. Ever. :dance:

The inside edges of my front tyres are wearing faster than the rest of them. Any idea what could cause it? I've got 18" wheels and standard suspension. I've got some KYB shocks with lower springs I was going to get fitted soon possibly with a camber correction kit too. Any idea if tyres worn like this are dangerous? Cheers folks! :dance:

This is mine. It's Nissan Metallic Midnight Purple, paint code LP1. If you're after a Cadbury type purple it'll be too dark. It looks almost black unless the sun hits it.

I think it's LP1 ... or LP2. I can check if you want? It's darker than the purple in the pic you've put up though.

I got as local garage to service my 300 a while ago. They replaced the NGK plugs with Bosch. Everyone on here tells me Bosch are no good so I bought some of the right NGK plugs (cheers Topless) and fitted them today. To be honest it seemed to run ok on the Bosch ones but I think the fuel consumption was down a bit. The NGK are definitely a slightly different length. Anyway - it turns out the garage had only changed the front four plugs, not the rear two which need the ballance bar removing. So they double f*cked up - I'm going to have a quiet word with them tomorrow. They fitted the wrong plugs, didn't bother changing two of them and still charged me for six. :rant: What do you think they'll say?
