The light in my boot's staying on when I close the boot.

 

I guess there's a litle switch somewhere that's sticking?

 

Any idea where it is?

 

Or do you think the problem could be something else?

The switch is in the actual lock

Disconnect the wire to the lock. you will need to remove the centre plastic boot trim to do this though!

take the bulb out ;)

mine comes on when the bonnet is open, you might have an extra switch in the bonnet for the alarm?

The bonnet WAS open!

I've got an alarm whihc goes off if the bonet or boot are opened so maybe they're linked in some way now?

 

I'll check tomorrow.

 

(I did take the bulb out as a temporary measure!)

Tried it - you were right!

It was the bonet being open causing the boot light to stay on.

well put the bulb back in and take the bonnet off :D
