  1. I would do a service on the transmission by replacing the fluid and strainer which is what has helped improved my autos shifting abilities.
  2. Really I didn't know that I always thought CZP buys from a local US Nissan dearlership and I think he gets trade prices on those parts which is why they are cheaper then Courtesy Directly. When I tried to source a brand new USDM adjustable suspension center console switch Courtesy Nissan were the only suppliers who could get me one, they charged me $150 freight through UPS on that little part which I had to pay otherwise I would have never got the part, If I could of got it through CZP it would have been $30 freight. least just say never again will I buy from Courtesy Nissan.

  4. Now for the discontinued parts list I've gathered so far. As part of my 2000spec conversion build project which I'm still working on, I have done everything I can do document everything at all of the parts I've purchased and installed onto my Z, I hope this information will help other Z owners find the part the are chasing without the guess work I had to do for some of the parts I was chasing for my build I've included everything from part numbers and what years the part was introduced for the Z32 as well as part costings and shipping times along with where I purchased the item all in an effort to help other Z owners find the part their looking for, I've added most of my parts list on my aus300zx garage which you need to be a memeber to view but its free to join. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/garage_vehicle.php?do=view_vehicle&id=28 Anyways the list I've compiled so far; Label (Tyre Placard) 90990-43P00 (89-00) (Discontinued) Series 6 JDM Z32 Front Fenders LH 63101-VP110 (99-00) (Discontinued) Series 6 JDM Z32 Front Fenders RH 63100-VP110 (99-00) (Discontinued) Screw (Fuel Cap) 08310-5125D (Discontinued) Series 4 Front Brake Caliper (TT) (Iron) LH (Discontinued) 41011-37P01 Series 4 Front Brake Caliper (TT) (Iron) RH (Discontinued) 41001-37P01 Series 2 Loom Protector LH Front 24270-30P12 (92-00) (Discontinued) Series 2 Loom Protector LH Back 24270-30P13 (92-00) (Discontinued) Series 3 Fuse Box Bracket 24236-33P10 (93-00) (Discontinued) Series 3 Nissan Plenum Support Bracket LH 14017-46P05 (93-00) (Discontinued) Series 3 Nissan Plenum Support Bracket RH 14017-48P05 (93-00) (Discontinued) Series 4 USDM Upper RH Warning Circuit [Tailight Blown/HIAS/ABS] (Instrument cluster) 24882-45P11 (94-96) (Discontinued) Series 4 JDM Upper RH Lens Warning [Tailight Blown/HIAS/ABS] (Instrument cluster) 24882-53P01 (94/10-) (Discontinued) Series 4 Upper LH Lens Warning [ASCD] (Instrument cluster) 24882-45P70 (92/08-97/01) (Discontinued) Series 4 Upper Mid Lens Light Cover [indicator/Hi-Beam] (Instrument cluster) 24816-49P64 (94-96) (Discontinued) Series 4 Odometer Unit (Instrument cluster) 24875-47P00 (92/08-00/08) (Discontinued) Series 2 Headlight Pod, RH [w/ ASCD & Heater] 25160-47P00 (92-94) (Discontinued) keyless Remote Door Kit (Complete) H0500-VP100 (98-00) 1 type remote (Discontinued) H0560-53P00 (94-97) 3 type remote (Discontinued) Cigarette Lighter Assembly (w/ Shroud) 25331-89902 (90-96) (Discontinued) Series 6 Door Harness, RH 24124-VP100 (98-00) (Discontinued) Series 5 CD Unit (Kenwood KV909) B8182-89980 (97/01-00/08) (Discontinued) Series 2 Aircon Pod, LH 27500-41P10 (92/09-92/10) (Discontinued) USDM Interior Foot lamps LH 26425-30P00 (Discontinued) Alarm Remote's H0569-89900 (89-92) (Discontinued) H0569-1P100 (Alternative) (Discontinued) Optional Service Mark Indicator Assembly (KB5070) B5070-89900 (98-00) (Discontinued) I know there's more like the Version R red stitched steering wheel is now discontinued and this is list is only from the items I've tried to source for myself as part of my project.
  5. I've been using those 2 sites for years I've only made one purchase from RHDjapan which went great but I intend to use them more for nismo related parts in the future, their prices are pretty good but I've never used them for sourcing OEM nissan parts before. Other sites I use frequently for part number information and prices are JP-Carparts.com http://jp-carparts.com/nissan/cartypelist.php?maker=nissan&type=132 japanese based parts website which used the car manufacture's own parts fichie to locate parts. For Nissan they use the same illustrations as the NISSAN FAST program and makes it a hell of alot easier to find the part your looking for them looking at raw numbers like amayama. Nissan.epc-data.com http://nissan.epc-data.com/fairlady_z/gz32/ Another japanese parts website exactly like amayama expect its for the japanese market. It doesnt use illustrations like JP-carparts does but it does tend to show more actual available part information compared to JP-carparts. Most of the discontinued parts wont be listed on the nissan.epc-data.com whereas JP-carparts they will be for some strange reason. For the US market I use Courtesy Nissan http://www.courtesyparts.com/ Tend to be way overpriced for what CZP can get me but the part numbers are what i use this site for mainly. Nissanpartsdeal.com https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/ Much easier navigation then Courtesy Nissan and give you all of the available and discontinued parts allowing you to see what is available and what is not. For the UK and Europe Market I use Nissan4u.com http://nissan4u.com/parts/ Has the Nissan FAST illustration to make navigation simple but I've never tried to contact and order another from them as of yet. Now onto my japanese contact. The guys name is jesse streeter and I've been using his import services for almost 10 years now and I think I have spent quite a few $1000 of dollars (AUD) in order parts with him over those 10 years. Basically he owns a little import business in Japan and what I normally do is I send him an email with a list of nissan part numbers which he then takes to his local nissan spare parts dealership and gets a quotation for those parts and emails me back the quotation. I reply to him the parts I want to buy which he then sends me back an official invoice which I pay him directly into an Australian bank account. Once the payment clears his accounts he purchases the parts I ask for and waits for them to arrive from Nissan. Once they arrive he boxes them up and emails a second invoice for freight charges. I pay him again into the same bank account and once that clears he sends me the package which normally arrives within a week. He also can do bidding for used parts on Yahoo auctions (japans version of ebay) for customers as he has an account and it has scored me some pretty rare parts which I normally would have never been able to buy brand new. His website is here http://jessestreeter.com/ and you can contact him via email and give him your request and he will try and help you if he can.
  6. Not sure ill post the guys website later tonight and ill also post up all of the parts ive recorded so far that ive been told are no discontinued from nissan usa and japan. Stay tuned
  7. This is because nissan japan do not have a 10 year production spare parts rule like we have hear in australia. For us aussies when a car reaches 10 years old the car manufacture does not need to continue to produce replacement parts for that model and so whatever is left in the distibution centers is all thats left until stock runs out. From what i know the jap car companies can choose to either discontinue a car for a car during production, as soon as the car ceases production and or 10 years after production ceases its weird i know. I buy all of my z32 brand new from nissan napan direct to avoid the aussie nissan guys as they dont anything here for the z32. I have a japanese contact that goes to nissan for me and let me know whats available and how much nissan want for it.
  8. This is 100% 92+ i think off the top of my head. Nissan added a thread bolt hole welded to the arm for the aur guide mounting bolt. Other the that the arms are all the same performance wise.
  9. I was willing sell it to your for $30 aud + frieght if you were to go ahead with it. But i understand rules are rules. Maybe ill throw it up on ebay one day.
  10. Yes i do know that didnt think it would really matter if its a personal trandcation and considering i live in australia i dont think aubscribing to your forums would benefit much really. Still i hornor the rules this forums.
  11. Yeah sure if your interested in buying it im happy to sell it to you. Send me a pm and we can go from there.
  12. I purchased one of these series 4 actuators hoping i could install it and have remote boot unlocking. Unfortunately my series 1 jdm model doesnt have any of the required mounting points, electrical harness and cabling to adapt this into my system. I also dont have the later model key fob only the series 1 optional infrared fob which has 1 button to open the doors only.
  13. Its a complete OEM series 2 model Velour interior but I have also installed lots of optional late model electrical units and trim options to set my Z apart from the rest. The options I can think of off the top of my head include the complete series 3 instrument cluster with the 2000spec white/gold face dials, Version R red stitch airbag steering wheel, optional carbon fiber center console and window switch trim panels, series 2 aircon pod, leather option auto shifter, dual electric velour seats, bose speaker grills, optional lower aircon vent (crouch warmer/cooler), a full set of the rarest factory fairlady floor mats, Altia door sill and 1/4 window panels, optional boot mat and later model boot carpet. USDM Adjustable TT suspension system with OEM toggle switch merged into the OEM folding mirror switch, late model UV Cut glass 1/4 windows with a mirror finish, 1997 16bit later model ECU and if you noticed I have also recently installed the 2997 optional 6 inch factory TV monitor and OEM Mini Disc Jap stereo player to keep my Z interior as OEM as possible but also improve its technology as much as I with what options the Z32 got over its 10 year production span. This is just a taste of the actual options I've installed into my Z though, plan to post a massive build thread detailing everything one day in the future. Sorry for the crappy phone photos but I'll take proper ones when the Z is actually finished and ready for its proper reveal;).
  14. Though my technically is a 1989 / 12 model it doesn't really look much like one anymore Its more of a 2000spec model then a 1989 model dont you think;)
  15. Never heard of these thanks for sharing greg. Unfortunately its too expensive for me nowdays to get these from japan, i would wsitmate this would roughly cost 40,000 yen to ship to australia. the wife would kill me.
  16. I appreciate the reply but i dont need to check codes i have consult. What i need to know is the ecu looking like its set to mode 1 or mode 2 in that photo.
  17. Hey guys, I just installed a later model ECU into my Z and though everything is working fine so far, I just noticed the potentiometer you turn to check error codes is pointing downwards towards the right. My old ECU had it pointing upwards towards the right. I have looked up some info on which mode this is set to at the moment but I don't really know which way the potentiometer should be pointing to for normal mode. Any ideas what this is set to?
  18. He has put it up for sale again. http://www.ebay.com/itm/112057919363
  19. Yup black outer rim with silver spokes, just gotta take the sapcers off for that flush look. Lol It also has aerial and rear wiper delete which was an odd surprise, but its now gone eat it tailpipe and all and with a strawberry whirl centre it tasted too good to resist. Thanks again guys for your lovely comments
  20. Hey guys, I thought you all might like this. For my 33rd Birthday my wife has gone all out for me and had a cake made out of a silver Nissan 300ZX Z32. The first thing I noticed with the cake is its a 2+0 model, series 1 spoiler & aftermarket wheels. It has tinted windows, silver wiper arms, and series 1 tail lights and front indicators. LOL My wife's best friend's boyfriends mum is a professional cake maker and she prepared this wonderful cake for me for today and think its amazing. I can now finally tick off 300ZX birthday cake from my bucket list :zlove:
  21. From what i know this was the stunt car used for the final jump scene not the actual main driving car. The fuel tank is rusted up with 20 year old fuel and from what the owner said in his forums post he couldnt start the car and was going to replace the fuel tank and pump. Also they painted a black z silver to match the main silver driving car in the ad.
  22. Thanks mate its my pride and joy and i do my best to look after her. As for Tommy karia z in oz no i don't think there are any i know of in Australia..
  23. There was a tiny accident between 2 Z on the way up the hill, A white Z misjudged the braking distance and nudged the silver Z in front of him bending the RH side exhaust pipe. Looks like we weren't the only ones that knew about this great parking spot on the top of a mountain. Healesville After about an hour of resting our feet and socializing we headed back down the mountain to travel to our last destination in Healesville. I tried to take it easy on the way down which meant a few of the more spirited Z drivers overtook me which added to the scare factor but I survived and after a long day of driving through some really nice forest roads we made it to bakery at Healesville. And to finish off We have the Great Ocean Road Cruise coming up in less then 3 weeks and I can't wait to attend.
  24. The 2nd annual Doug Memorial cruise was without a doubt another great cruise event with lots of driving and socialising for all the members who attended on the day. It has become one of those events I believe every Victorian Z owner should attend and be apart of, but not just for the memorial of a fellow Z owner who has past away, but because it is becoming one of the fastest growing iconic Z cruises I seen since my First GOR cruise in 2007. Anyways enough talking onto the photos. I tried to keep them to a minimum this event, as sometimes too much can ruin the overall presentation of a good thread post. Starting meet point If your wondering what Mark meant by "getting everyone lost by following the GSP" well this is where we waited for the pack to follow us back down the narrow street Mark accidentally took us up. I don't know how but only 2 of us follow mark back to the turn off we weren't suppose to go up and while we waited, mark called Col to organise how we could link back up with the pack of Z that he had with him. We ended up meeting the rest of the pack on our way to Gembrook so it all worked out in the end. Gembrook Gembrook was our first stop along the cruise route and where would have lunch for the day. Most of the Z's got scattered in different parking spots along the main street unfortunately, so I didn't get many photos. Lake Mountian The road up the mountain has to be one of the twistiest roads I've every driven on and though it was fun pushing my Z which has the OEM TT suspension setup to give me more stability through the tight turns at speed, there were definately a few corners I took a little to hard causing me to use the entire edge of the road which scared me half to death that's for sure. We also had motor bikes zipping past us on the way up the hill and then one of the members in the green and black Z span out right behind me while doing a power side around a tight corner. No damaged was sustained but it was quite scary and though I had a laugh with the driving when we arrived at lake mountain, I was still like F#@k me that was close. lol We we arrived at the top of mountain the view was spectacular to say the least and with a massive car park to accommodate the everyone it was a great place to socialize and photograph the best cars on the planet in my opinion :zlove:
  25. Hey guys, just a little update on how this install is going. We did a bench test to see if the system actually worked before we tried to install it and with only the small amount of information I had gathered I this system I prayed for a positive result. It works:), We connected the red/black power wire to a positive power source as well as connect the black/brown GND wire to earth and this was enough for the system to operate and activate the leveler actuator up and down as well as display a red indicator light on the infrared sensor when the system was in the locked position. The smaller horn also made a short beep sound as the system was activated. We found the yellow wire and green/brown wire did not need to be connected for the above test of the system to work which I think means those wires must relate to the theft warning part of the system which if i can figure out would be a double bonus. Anyways with the system now working i decided to attempt to install it into the drivers door and see if I can get it to all work. The problem I faced immediately is i have absolutely zero clue where the leveler actuator mounts inside the door and where it attaches to so the central locking system can be locked and unlocked. I was hoping the diagram I had would reveal the exact location when I attempted to install the actuator, but what we found was there didn't appear to be any spare holes or empty clips locations on the door actuator for the system to connect to. After several different places inside the door where we think it would mount we found that the actuator needs to be in the right spot at the right angle so the arm mechanism can easily pull and push the point were the central locking can be altered, which we unfortunately could not find during this initial attempt and this stopped us from going any further:(. Does anyone know where this leveler actuator goes inside the door and where it is suppose to link up to? Photos would be perfect if someone was to have any, even if it is after you pulled the system out, I really need to figure this out so I can install this system.
