  1. Bye bye EGR Solenoid:) The Z gods hard at work:zlove: EGR blanking plates installed. Thought I'd check on the rest of the group outside and found this.
  2. Yay plenum is off. Excuse the dirty engine bay I just don't have the stamina for cleaning it with a tooth brush. Target area:mad: TPS connector, full of corrosion:mad: Bryan and Kal had to replace all the hoses underneath the plenum and install the EGR blanking plates for me.
  3. Here is Dean (bRacket) helping me out with taking the EGR bolts off. Thanks mate:)
  4. Inside Bryans shop:zlove: More Zs started gathering outside:zlove:
  5. Here is where it all started, Cam and I began working together while Bryan was MIA.
  6. ere is the recent tech day I organised this month. We ended up with around 8 - 10 Zs for the day and everyone enjoyed getting together after a long break between events. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1206004#post1206004 The plan for the day was to take the plenum off, to check for an oil leak I had developed at the back of the engine and also check one of the heater hard pipes in the same area for coolant leaks. I know Bryan (my mechanic) probably hated me for asking this but I made an extra request for a EGR removal while the plenum was off and to my surprise, Bryan accepted the challenge without hesitation. Upon removal of the plenum we discovered the cause of the oil leak, which was coming from the rocker covers as they weren't screwed down tight enough. Easy fix. Then we checked all the injector connectors and found a ton of corrosion in every one of them as well as every injector. But luckily for me all the connectors were getting destroyed during the removal process and Bryan had brand new snap on connectors to replace them. My favourite of the day Sam's (sbug88) 91 JDM Slicktop
  7. Very interesting Sudesh, I'm currently working on a 2000spec conversion project on my 1989 model and have been collecting parts for the past 3 years and I've been researching the 2000 models and have a lot of information regarding most things about them. Your photos have given me more information on the audio setup on the later model Zs. I do have one question. Ids the lower part of the rear bar, smooth? I only ask as I noticed the lower side body parts which are normally the rock guard parts on my 89 model yours are smooth. So jut wanted to know if that its the case for the rear bar as well. if there is anything you would like to know about your Z as well let me know I have Nissan fast so can check your chassis number and get your cars specs up. cheers Adam
  8. Thanks guys for the positive comments. I have seen the winter weather you guys are dealing with on the news over here and the funny thing is last week we had a heat wave where we had 1 day was 42 degrees Celsius and now this week its like 14 degrees. Melbourne can have all 4 seasons in 1 day:(.
  9. I hope you guys enjoyed the photos.[/center]
  10. Too finish off the cruise we headed back into the city and stopped in front of the Yarra Tower Apartment blocks, with a beautiful city scape in the background for a nice little photo shoot. The city look awesome and if i had a proper camera the photos would have came out heaps better but it was just a cool site with the towers in the background and the 4 zeds all looking mint.
  11. Here is the Historical Time Ball Tower building in the town Williamstown, which told the time for sailors on ships entering the Williamstown port back in the early 1900's. Unfortunately the photo quality just disappeared from my camera which im very disappointed with. But nothing i can do about it.
  12. From Werribee the group followed me through the town of Altona (Where i live) on our way to Williamstown. The city of Melbourne was beginning to light up and it look stunning from a distance.
  13. As you can see all us got engulfed in my laptop which was spitting out real time data from the ECU through Conzult. Fun times lol
  14. First stop and it was quite chilly at this spot but that didn't hamper the groups excitement. Everyone began taking photos of the cars and i got stuck into checking one of the white 2+0 as the owner wanted to see if there were any problems with his car which it turned out both is 02 sensors were dead:thumbsdow.
  15. Here are some scenic photos of Port Phillip Bay where the Werribee River meets the Ocean.
  16. Here are some shots of the group along the Freeway, which was heaps of fun as everyone started taking photos of each lol. I had designed a new route which took us through some tight twisting roads, which freaked my girlfriend out a little bit. lol .
  17. Here guys i recently hosted a Z cruise and i thought you guys might like to see how the night unfolded. We were expecting 10 cars to attend but unfortunately, only 3 turned up. Still the guys were great and it ended up being a great night of cruising. We started just outside of the city of Melbourne before heading South to a town called Werribee.
  18. Thanks for all the supportive comments guys, its Victoria's biggest zed cruise which is held once every year. Even though we had all kinds of weatrher conditions for the first half of the cruise. Sun, light rain, heavy rain to sun then cloudy etc. It still was a great cruise and the weather didn't put anyone off by the looks of it.
  19. Here is us on the Great ocean Road heading towards Geelong.
