After Apollo Bay we headed inland for some spirited driving throught the Oatway National park with lots of high speed bush roads to create a peaceful surroundings to drive in. we then made it to the Cape Oatway lighthouse meet point. Here a few members went off to photograph the amazing scenery from the top of the lighthouse while the rest of the members stayed in the car park and just socialised with each other. I was again questioned about my Z with a small circle of people surrounding me and my car to have a good look inside and out. Upon leveling cape oatway lighthouse we were giving a rare opportunatity to be providing photograph for the hardcore photographers on the day and they were set up along the road leading out of the carpark with instructions to get hi res action shots of the cars driving by. Unfortunately due to me losing the car in front of me my cruise was cut short and thinking we were surpose to be heading back to geelong I sent most of the attendees who were all following me home early so no more photos to post upafter cape oatway. Regardless I still enjoyed the 10th anniversary of the GOR cruise and I can't for the next big Z cruise. So we were off, bypassed geelong and headed straight for Lorne and because this time of year is when all the schoolies (Spring break) are out and about Lorne was packed with people and the look on everyones faces when 25+ Z's started rolling through the main street was priceless. It made me feel so proud to own one of these beautiful sports cars and I will never get sick of that feeling. After passing through Lorne we made it to the main event, the great Ocean Road. and this was where I was going to try out one of my new suspension systems I installed as part of my project. I have installed the OEM adjustable suspension system which wasn't standard in JDM or ADm Z32s. so my JDM model is the only one with this system in place and function in Australia:). I wasn't sure if I would notice any real difference when driving with the system engaged. So after a few turns I decided to flick the switch to touring and what a difference it made. The car felt like it was on train tracks and it just suck to the road at speeds I would normally slow down for. Unfortunately as expected the pack I was cruising with got stuck behind 2 buses at one point and so once we slowed down I could feel every single liitle bump in the road, so all I had to do was flick the switch back to sport and the car smooved out all the bumps. I loved the new system and I was using it as much as I could. So after 20 - 30 mintues of twisting and turning through the GOR we finally made it to Apollo Bay for lunch and to stretch how legs. Got to catch up with some mates of mine and just talk Z stuff:zlove:

[CENTRE] [/center] Second meet point was at Avalon, and we picked up a few more Zs here to bring the total Z attendee amount to around 23 - 25 cars. I was swamped by few members wanting to sit and have a look at my Zs almost new OEM interior and exterior.

Another year, another GOR done and dusted. Had an awesome day and thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. It was so good to finally be back driving my beloved Z again after 11 months of begin off the road hich also made this years GOR cruise extra special as I finally got a chance to relieve my hugh 2000spec replica project to the Vic members and get some feedback and support from the guys before I post anything to the rest of the forums. The cruise began as it always has at the Todd Rd servo/KFC meet point. By the time I had arrived there were at least 10 Zs already parked in the car park and the owners were already chatting away. As I had hoped for my Z created alot of attention and as soon as I got out of the car I was swamped with questions and congratulations from all guys there. Here she is all finished and ready for a big day of cruising.:zlove: It didn't take long for the rest of the attendees to arrive at the meet point and take over the carpark. I think we ended up with 20 or so Zs before we headed off.

VicRoads the Victoria state automotive registration organisation allow custom licence plates to be created to a customers style, colour and text at a cost of $500 AUD. I had my finance and my family get my personalised plates (ADAMZX) for my 25th birthday:D http://www.vplates.com.au/ As vodkashots has already detailed, the Green P plates is a 2nd grade probationary drivers licence. The 1st grade is a red P plate which limits the driver to only 1 passenger in the car. but a few years ago we use to have just the red P plates. Too many young kids started dieing on Australian roads and so the green P plates was introduced to extend the probationary period and it seems to have helped. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1229081#post1229081 Thank you guys for all the positive comments. This cruise is the biggest meet we have in Victoria and everyone loves to be apart of it. I hope next year my Z will finally be finished and Ill get alot of attention from my hard work.

The last stop was in Geelong where we all gathered for a photo shoot.

From Apollo Bay we headed inland through some tight twistes to end up at the next stop on the cruise. This was what was left of another member's front splash gaurd:confused: that had been scrapping the ground/road during the entire cruise:O. To help him out I quickly removed the 3 screws holding the guard in place and pesto my good deed for the day was done:zlove:

From Avalon we got back onto the freeway and headed to the Great Ocean Road to stop at Apollo Bay for lunch Apollo Bay

Another massive Great Ocean Road Cruise gone and what a day it was. I don't know the exact count but we were looking at 25+ Zs in attendance on the day. it was a fun day and the weather held out to give us a good day for cruising in. Thanks I was using my new camera on the event and the photos came out trumps:). Its been a while since the last event I went to and it was so addictive I want to do it again already:). Sounds great, i always love seeing the UK Zs in action, you guys tend to appreciate the modding scene here in Oz more then the yanks seem to:(. Just make sure to join the http://www.aus300zx.com and post the photos there for use Aussies to see:rockon:. We are pretty passionate over here in Oz, the Z community we have is just amazing, like myself we all help eachother with problem solving and even go and help new owners check Zs for sale to help people get the right Z for them. I am so proud and honored to be part of the Z world:clap: Thanks mate, still have a few problems still to fix but I plan to start my 2k build at the start of 2012:), so will make sure everything is perfect before the project is finished.

And the Worlds toughest O2 Sensor. This thing was insane to get off. Basically the sensor somehow melted itself to the bracket it was sitting in and Bryan had to shear the top of the unit off to get a socket on it to get it out. This is all that is left.

New O2 sensor's in place:). Bryan soldering in my new injector connectors. All back together again. Here is the aftermath when I got home. Corroded injector connectors:(

Bye Bye EGR unit:zlove: By now only a few Zs remained Cam working on heater hose bypass.

EGR removal was going slow and it was looking like a pain to get out. I know everyone who helped lost some sort of flesh from either their arms or knuckles and I thank everyone one for helping with the removal. Almost ready to come out:). These hardpipes were the biggest pain to get out. But Bryans method was simple bend the pipe till it snapped. Simple. Gone:)

Bye bye EGR Solenoid:) The Z gods hard at work:zlove: EGR blanking plates installed. Thought I'd check on the rest of the group outside and found this.

Yay plenum is off. Excuse the dirty engine bay I just don't have the stamina for cleaning it with a tooth brush. Target area:mad: TPS connector, full of corrosion:mad: Bryan and Kal had to replace all the hoses underneath the plenum and install the EGR blanking plates for me.
