2. Depends on the weather but is always a good shout! I will be going as well, i will get there for around 9.45 and it usually empties by around 1-2pm
3. Lots of fabricating will be needed to get them to fit on standard manifolds, so easiest way is Rip the T25's out, Bore them out to take your T28 Compressor wheel, shaft etc and fit them back in so no difference to t28 fixings, room in bay etc but all the power of the T28! Only wish i had done it when i had mine done but maybe next time :)
4. Too many boring people unwilling to experiment??
5. After Effects but its complex but probably the most powerful!
6. Yeah i am.... is you Son there??? Ask him if he has seen the Black Zed driving all over campus :P (that would be me btw)
7. Just Graduated in June, and been looking for a job for Four months now and i have come up short everywhere i go! Fed up with the work my Degree is in as i sit here trying to create a bigger portfolio in 3d Creations and i get fed up/ bored within 20minutes! So i swooped back into Uni and remember reading about Motorsport Technologies and i have been accepted :dance: (although missed 1st 3weeks of Lectures) so i am going back to Uni for a 2year course in motorsport tech, which will have me trained up to the standered of a Motorsport Pit Crew member and give me all the engineering experience and information to get most Mechanical Engineering jobs which HUGELY improves my chances of landing a 'career' job! Plus having 2 Degrees 1 Science and 1 Engineering cant be a bad thing either!! Just wanted to Share the News... That is all :) Link to Course Info if anyone wants to check it out!(CLICKY) Munny
8. As Far as i know this will be your only potential Problem :)
9. Sweet im glad a few people are interested! People from loads of different forums come along so be sure to chat to some owners and you can find out some super interesting stuff! My partner and I usually go and we are Weather Dependant but even on the Rainy days the turnout is usually still pretty good!! Will report on what the weather looks like when it becomes available!!
10. I bought this exact one has done me proud after a few months of being in although i did need to sand down the Rubber gasket as the Nut connecting that to the sump wasnt long enough so would seal properly! After a rub down and ensuring it was flat all is well and remains well! Its all in the Gasket! You will be fine with it, i may have just had a short sump nut!
11. If it is what Shrek has said then yes the original sender should be fine! Wiring into the back of the Gauges may need to be chopped as could have differ plugs into the gauge but only cutting and re-wiring no biggie!
12. Burden!!! or should it be Birden XD
13. Pottering around town 35quid (30litres) will get me around 120miles around town (my daily driver) which is around 18mpg and on motorways i average around 28mpg (70-80mph average) oh and thats for a TT Manual! Its all about how much control you have of your Right foot!! My record in the Zed was 37mpg as i was tailing a van at 70mph for around 150miles!
14. a good buddy of mine has organised 4 Nurburgring trips for his Mini forums and all went off without a hitch (near enough anyways) so i would be happy to get some Ideas/ suggestions from him of places to go, stay and see :)
15. My past 2 Lappie's have been Toshiba 1 is now around 8years old and the other 1 is 4years old and they both work as if i bought them fresh yesterday! I even used to use the Second lappie for 3d Rendering which would rape the processor for hours and it still runs clean and precise! Perhaps i just got some good ones! All the guys at Uni keep buying the same sort of laptop and they all seem to be Toshiba or Samsung and most of the Nerdy guys spend uber amounts of time researching them! But i guess Beermonster this is why we all have Opinions :) I say this, and you say that :) guess you have more 'hands on' time with them so id assume you would know best :) *Although everyone knows im right* ROFL!!!
16. Stay Away from Dell and Acer... Dell just sh*t goes wrong and Acer's are just built of sh*t components and will be Chugging in no time! Asus are just as bad! Just low tech crappy components. Best really are Samsung and Toshiba to be honest and there are a fair few for under 500 smackers! had a quick browse on 1 of my most preferred sites (ebuyer.co.uk) and came across this (LINK CLICKY) which has everything except the Larger keyboard but most laptops dont have that on them anyways! This one has 2.0ghz Duel Core Processor, 4gb Ram (Plenty with decent Speed too) 500gb HDD (Tons) big 15.6inch screen (Most around this mark or a tad smaller) other functions like Inbuilt webcam (handy) 3in1 card reader (useful if camera doesnt connect via USB) has Vista on it and is Windows 7 compatible Hope this helps and happy huntint!
17. I know this car is mainly for people with vag*nas but i saw this as its nearby and is in great nick + full MOT for 795! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1999-Ford-Ka_W0QQitemZ280406801736QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item41498c3d48#ht_981wt_1165
18. S*it dude im so sorry to see this! Had the pleasure of meeting you at Zedfest and loved his Zed and enjoyed our good banter! As all have said, main thing is your not too hurt! Get well soon my friend and good luck whatever you decide to do with the Zed!
19. They are from the Holes in the Targa tops as Drain holes so Water doesnt get stuck in them and Rot the metal! They are meant to be like that :)
20. Right guys im putting this up again as i missed the one this month and the turn out was Phenomenal! I DEFINATLY think if we get a handful of Zeds down there it would be good for us Mid's Members to meet up and make some awesome photos of all the cars together! WEBSITE CLICKY All the Information you will need is there, its at Cosford RAF Museum which is located at TF11 8UP good access, food and a Free museum there so you can bring your kids/wives/gf's etc along and if they are bored of cars they can look at 60years worth of Planes, tanks, vehicles ranging from New Fighter jets, Jumbo jets, to Tanks and Morris Minors. I have been to this many times and it not yet dissapointed me even when the weather is sh*t there is always a great turnout! Come on guys lets pull our fingers out and Make another Great meet! 1.
