It heats up pretty quick, i wait until at least 70degrees but thats just me!Also keep an eye on the water temp gauge and make sure its doing well before you go nuts!

Zed's are known to have noisy INjectors! could well be them! or Sticky Hydraulic lifters is also another common sight! Nice Oil change and a good motorway run may help

There is Zed-fest Next month!Its on 11,12 and 13th of Sept! (CLICKY LINK) Think at the moment there are nearly 50people with 300zx's going and wil be loads of Zed's from all eras being 240z's, 260, 280, 300, 350, 370z! Have a read and see if you can make it!Alternativly this club are doing JapAutoExtravaganza (JAE) (CLICKY LINK) on the same weekend down in Northampton (I think) so you could go there instead :) had a peek at the list and is currently 35 300zx's going For you they are both about the same mileage whereas Zedfest is about 30miles closer so ill be doing that :)

Doesnt look all bad to me to be honest, did you have a look at the engine to see if there was any damage to that?? Like you have said will be a new Fender, Alloy and Most of the Front Right Suspension and you have it fixed! Your Front Bumper can be saved, just get a new Front Wing, (wheel doesnt look bent from pics) and look at the Suspension under that wheel, Tension arms will be bents maybe springs and few other bits! Dont think its all doom and gloom! Get Parts Sourcing id say!! Oh and you will need a new bonnet :) All in all maybe £500 or repairs depending on whether you can do it yourself or a mate to do it will make it cheaper

Well on these figures then the Skyline is over 200kgs lighter so that extra 50bhp that the Zed has is making up for the extra weight. So if the Skyline is tuned which is piss easy on them he can easily be running 300bhp and if you are running same HP then you will loose every time! You will need to up your HP or loose some weight of a mixture or both :)

Yes he does! Also which model of Skyline as they all weigh quite a few kgs lighter than the zed! Power to weight ratio will show your Zed at a servere disadvantage and in a drag race thats all that matters! THink there is around 100kgs difference between the 2 cars so you wlil need an extra 25hp+ to match him due to your cars extra weight! And if your running stock boost you will have no chance im afraid

The fact your even considering it means your mind is already set and you are looking for a reason not to do it! Sell it and buy something else to excite you!

Water Temp Tpiece. Place this in your pipe and it has the T-piece for a Sender to go in! i got the same thing for my Water Temp Sender! But mine isnt Greddy :tongue:

Mine was done on the road not on the rollers so they will most likely adjust it around abit more! How did you get on with those boost settings i plumbed in for you as well?? (cant remember the forum name sorrry!!!!) Did they work well???

I bought some aftermarket front Seats (Recliner Racing seats) as they were cheaper than a retrim, still look stealthy as all black and the 2seats weigh in at just under the weight of 1 Stock electric seat. You loose the electric stuff but its still good :) Perhaps something to ponder over

i have done the turbo seals etc, got a kit off ebay and did my friends T3, wasnt too difficult just uber fiddely and time consuming! Problem with the Zed is getting the turbos out :)

my best was 4.7 0-60 in mine! but has been on a diet (car lost around 70kgs) so shall be even less! Just think of how many new performance cars have a 0-60 sub 5seconds! New Astra VXR costing £15k+ has a 0-60 of 6.2! Just for comparison :) Oh and on my road trip last year when we went through Germany Sat Nav clocked us at 172mph with 3people in the car and a Full boot with Camping gear, food and clothes!!

i Was going to mention Glass weighs a Tonne! So swap it for some perspex! Think every window except the Front Windscreen can be perspex! I can imagine the Rear window weighs Loads so will be a good weight reduction on that if you do change it!

Anti lag is a system where when off Throttle or Changing gear the car Dumps Gallons of fuel through so that the revs stay up (less need to blip throttle when shifting) and the Turbos Keep spinning and dont slow down so that when your back on the throttle they are all spooled up and ready to Hammer on!! So its the Uber Overfueling which is causing the Bang Bang Bang with his Rev limiter on his Launch Control adding to it! Looking into Custom management the device Megasquirt 2 has these Functions available as well (launch Control, Rev Limiter) and loads more! Doesn't need to be just What you see in the Big Zed Stores that'll work :)

there was a V8 RWD Mini up for grabs a while ago! Id have that instead! But Corr that is 1 mean sucker!
