Daily Drivers?
Jesus somethings not right there! Most of mine is pottering around town i put 35quid in (like 31-32litres) and i get around 130-150miles to that! Did 220miles today in the Zed up to blackpool and back put 40quid in and it was all gone so averaged 29mpg! Unless you have a lead foot or i drive like a granny i think you may have some Overfueling issues or something!

Wideband lambda?
There are more Custom managements out there than just Nistune and AEM :) i have seen tried and tested Megasquirt and Megajolt (not on the 300zx) which are both fully programmable and customisable ECU. Far cheaper to buy and operate :) And uber easy to use and are compatible with Narrowband and Wideband 02 Sensors too :

Daily Drivers?
been my Daily Driver for over 2years now, clocked up nearly 18k miles in 28months of ownership! loved every minute of it! I sat down and thought about a run around but The extra 1k you spend buying it, 400 on insuring it and then Running it, Tax, MOT'ing it from what it saves me than on Zed Fuel it will take years to Balence itself out than if i just did the Zed as my daily driver. Thus here i am with a TT manual as my daily Drive. Its a wonderful feeling! :D :D :D Its only failed me Twice, 1 was the CAS plug fell out and took me a few hours and some Help to find it and get the car alive again. and the 2nd was my Student Gumball rally to Croatia where the fuel pump wiring had melted as it got so hot in a 2hr traffic jam in 40degree heat! So if treated correctly Zeds are actually not as Unreliable as alot of people make them out to be

HICAS - Having some issues...
Can be the actual speed sensor itself that is at fault here! Not always the speedo cluster stuff. As the car thinks its not moving (0mph) there will be no Power steering fluid being pumped around (obviously as it thinks its not moving so not needed) and is the result of your heavy steering. Is alot quicker and easier to check than solders at the back of the cluster. Check the connector is in and not full of s**t If not then move on to the Speedo Cluster :)

What will the results be...
I know its an Auto but come on! Its simple Maths really! Same weight.... More Power = Less time for 0-60! Alternatively you can reduce weight to Increase 0-60 without upping power

I love these wheels.

Suspension Advice and set up
You already have a LSD on :) Coilovers are your best bet. Im going to be going for the HSD coilovers (LINK CLICKY) as they have the Smoothie ones which are designed more for Road use but still have all the benefits of Coilovers! Also on the handling to get it abit sharper LOOSE WEIGHT!!! I swapped my Front seats for some aftermarket recliners and saved 30kgs!! Take out your spare tyre, A/C and your looking at well into 60+kgs of weight loss

My new front
Nice work, im about to start working on my Undertray (soon i hope) but remember to cut out some vents for the engine to give the Hot air a passage to escape from otherwise you will be running HOT! In my design im going to make little V shaped grooves which i will attach to the undertray to direct air to the outsides of the car then back in again into my rear diffuser! They only need to be a few mm thick to do the job :) Make sure your exhuast is still the lowest thing underneath otherwise you will wreck it :) Hope these few things help!

Done 180 odd miles in 2 days
Take the targa off, look for the split in the rubber and use some Sealeant to fill in the slice, let it set then replace Targa... Job done :) Well thats how i sorted mine out anyways :)

Rear Diffuser is here
Not planning to although may do one or two just to experience it in the Zed. I tend to do alot of Motorway mileage so i thought weight reduction can help (now averaging 30mpg on the motorways) and with a super swift under-body that will help me get a few more! So it wont be just for show

Rear Diffuser is here
:hyper: Got my new Fibreglass Rear Diffuser through the post today! weighs around 1.5kgs and fits perfectly between the two 'blades' coming off my rear bumper. Is super smooth in black and is at an 7degree angle which is a good angle (read between 5-12degrees was best) and it completely covers the fuel tank and ends just before the Diff so fitting shouldnt take to long (although no time, no tools atm and no space) Couple of piccies A Quick Trial Fit obviously the Box wont be there on final fitment and it will be a tighter flush to the bumper Got my flat floor plan done and dusted i reckon so once this is on and funds are back up then will be buying a heap of Fibreglass and get Making :) Should have the Diffuser on for Zedfest :) Enjoy

Interior retrim
Not the exact same ones but here were the other set i was contemplating. Ebay CLICKY The subframes they gave me needed extensive modifying to fit the zeds existing holes, and their delivery was excellent only took 3days before i had them, well packaged too!

Interior retrim
2 NEW seats! Cost me 250 for the pair and weigh the same as only 1 stock seat! So saved a nice 30kgs from the mid of the car :D
