Well seeing as i just bought the car not too hot on whats been done but i have been informed its on an Uprated ECU and the Boost control were both put it 2owners ago n boosyt control is on stock settings!Dont know bout the injectors nothing in paperwork so i assume same as standered! I feel like an idiot not knowing these things about my car :(

Yeah got the Twin Turbo!Boost guage is at like 0.9!I duno it just hits a wall then starts accelerating again!Didnt think wzas a Safe mode as if i floor it in 2nd or anythin theres no probs at all jus raw power! Should i be worried??

Ok now i am as Tech knowledgeful as an Elephant so i dont know if whats goin on is normal or me or the car!I have been told car was De-limited so when i put m foot down its all well and good till about 125mph then its like i hit a power wall then after half a second i keep going till 140mph then i hit another 1!Im running stock boost with Greddy boost control! If that helps! Any ideas on what is going on with this or is it normal? Also Racing a Scooby what should be the outcome on a drag strip?As i raced 1 on a Dual carrigway to 120 and he Won but only by like 1 car length!Both running bout the same power!SHould i have won??Have i put the 300zx name to shame??? :( Thanks All

Sorry i couldnt turn up lads i wanted to but the cable to my starter motor had snapped somehow so i couldnt get it sorted on Sun :( Hope you all had fun but i wil be at all future meets!!

After Further Investigation NickBananaZ was correct but the Button hadnt caught my key it had just locked it so i couldnt start her up!So now it is all fixed w00t w00t and i can cruise around town :P Thanks for your help lads appreciate it :D

Well i live in Bedford which according to Google Maps is only 26miles southwest from HUntingdon! SO pick up would defo be possible!What time are you leaving for the Nationals?? What price do you want for it?? Can you fit aswell???? The problem is that it wont physically turn past the ON part on the Igintion bit!So from what people are saying it dosent sound like the Immobiliser it sounds more like the Ignition Barrel now! You say you have a Good Ignition barrel and key for it?? Was so looking forward to taking her to the Jap show at Santa Pod tomoz too :( :( :( :(

Tried the wiggle nothing still happening and dont have a spare set of Keys as the dude a few owners back lost them and nore more been made. So you think its the Igintion Barrel then???? Any ideas on where i can pick 1 up and the stages after that???? Or could it be anything else you can think of??

Physically wont let me go past on!Thought it may have bn the immobilser as if i took the key out locked n unlocked the car it would always start up 1st time so i thought it may have been some sort of Safety feature having a hissy fit but id say about 90% of the time i could just hop in n start it up! When it does let me she starts everytime no problems!!!

Wow dont i feel like an idiot!just bought a 300zed and has been working fine for 2weeks now no probs! HAs Toad Ai606 alarm and i will walk up to car unlock fine hope in and turn the key and it will not let me go past the On part so i cant start her up!I get to the part where the Battery lights cum on but no further it wont let me past!!! It had done it once or twice but only when i had walked off and not locked her e.g at a petrol station o something! I cant find a way around it and i cant even start my car!Has been sitting for a day solid now and still cant start! Want to take her to Jap show tomoz but if i cant start her cus of the key then wtf can i do!!!! Any help plz plz plz plz plz! I feel foolish enough as it is! Thanks Munny

Heya just bought a 300zx a 1991 TT, Targa Manwell and had it a few days and the motor has pushed the aerial all the way out and it fell on the floor!have tried getting it back in by turning the Ignition key to off so the Motor Retracts the Cable but i cant get any luck Any suggestions??Dont really wan2 pay some1 20quid for it seems abit pointless!! Hello im still on the hunt for the 300zx that is going to blow away my mind and i have had a look at 2 now and i know the kind of standered questions to ask that i would ask when buying any car but is there some Specific questions (Mechanical and Non) that people would recommend asking so that i dont get caught out by a dodgy person As i have seen in posts key ones to ask are Heater Matrix, New Clutch (Manuals) and New turbo's is there anything else that people would recommend i watch out for Thanks Munny

Hello i have found a 300zx that i wish to purchase and the only prob is that its a NON turbo :( its a swb manual and i have found a gorgeous VG30DETT engine that i wish to throw into her! Now i have the mechanical skills of a dead fish so i would need somebody to fit the mean machine for me!Just searching around for quotes of prices of anybody willing to fit it for me! Car has 12months MOT so rest of her should be fine just wan2 swap the engine!Previous engine has 78,000miles on the clock so this engine would be up for sale too if anybody wishes to purchase! But nothing is for certain yet as based on Quote prices will determine whether i go ahead with the car as its alot of bother especially if i have just bought the car :P Anyone suggestions, quotes and recommendations are welcome plus any other car parts needed to get the job done please let me know as i dont know :D Thanks Munny
