OK this is going to be no help at all but i have had the same problem once or twice on Cold mornings! I would start up and Speedo wouldnt move for about 5mins of Driving (After Warmed up) and would bounce about for abit but then would be fine afterwards! On normal mornings it is fine so maybe just give it abit of a run about!

Bah bo**cks just looked at the date of it compared to my Uni Timetable!Its 4days before all my hand in dates (6 Modules in for 14th May)!! So im unsure as to whether i will be going! It will all depend on How much i have done and got left to do at that Weekend! Dam i was really wanting to go to this event but there is still hope! :(

Andy you terrified me when you said it wasnt just the Lifters!!!! Well i know the belt is a little slack when i got it serviced they showed me how to tighten it up using that little bolt on the front right of the engine! I was thinking of getting a full Cambelt change, water pump all of it as its on 103,000 now so i know its due a 100k change up! So lifters will be added to my list!I have 02 Sensors need to get them in too! When the engine was warm it was still a little rattle which sounds llike the lifters (thanks to watching other Zed Vids) jus very quiet but continuous! So can anyone tell me where i can get a hold of some new Lifters?? Also a decent Cambelt Kit i really need to touch up on my know-how! Been fiddling with bloody Headlight bulb for ages grrr... it is so fiddely and annoying!Fuse box is in the way of my fingers Bah!Passenger one is so annoying!
