I had a Mines Ecu which fried:( so i got my hands on a Standard Jap spec TT one and my engine is running really nice apart from 1. Down on power :( but i will get it mapped soon! 2. LIMITED to 112 :( As at the end of this month im away through Europe in the Zed and for 1 going through Germany! I need it De-limited for one! Whats the process im guessing Conzult then change it from 112 - 240??? If so i should be looking at the usual like 40quid for Conzult! Do Nissan Dealerships do them? Or full Dyno mapping how much is that usually and anywhere anyone can recommend near Bedfordshire (EA) Many thanks Munny

I had this problem as well! Tried everything Coilpacks, Injectors, MAF, and it when i changed the ECU (From MINES Chipped to Standered) it worked fine! MIght be something else i had had aload of burn marks on my ECU but well worth just trying! Only was around it is to downshift and let the clutch out while braking or blip the throttle on downshift!

Well Stock Turbos will max out at 15psi which is pretty much 1bar of boost (1bar is actually 14.5 but you catch my drift)!Condition of the engine will determine it really most people will probably say 0.7-0.8 bar which is still quite a punch! Higher the boost the quicker your turbos will wear out!So if they are old turbos may need to be gental with them! :) Hope this helps although im sure someone will bust my post in half XD

Right well just thought id ket you know we swapped rhe injectors no change, then coilpacks... no change, then spark plugs.... no change! Put a Standared ECU in and hey presto she has been spot in since! Had 8-9 burn marks in my Mines ECU so i opened her up and loads of the connectors had Fried/ Melted!So just need to get her de-limited before i go through Europe at the end of this month! Bad enough im down on power must do a top speed run on the Autobahn! :) Just thought id keep you guys in the kow how about potential fix if someone had the same problem! Right then people i have around 1month before the start of my final year at University! I am studying Computer Games Design (alot of 3d Work) So i decided to get started and i started a 300zx around 2weeks ago! Working 45hrs over 6days doesnt leave me masses of time but here is what i have for you! I just hope i can somehow implement it into my final year work without it looking pointless!! I know its not fantastic at the moment but its just for me to get a headstart on my work this year!Any other 3d moddellers give me a shout if you like! I am using 3ds Max 7 for this too! Wil be posting up more pics when i get more work done! EVentually i want it to look like my car which is this Just thought this would be an interesting topic for conversation! Munny :)

i had the same prob! Tracking seems to have sorted it out! only cost me a tenner and saved me a fortune on new tyres :)

Surely just make a Fibreglass mould of the bonnet (Fiberglass not expensive) then take the mould to people that do Perspex or something and get them to replicate it! Drill some Holdings and clips into it (Get Perspex people to sort out) and i bet that will cost so so much less than 4k! Just a thought.... Did a Fiberglass mould of a Tigra Bonnet as was going Carbon Fibre :) That was a long time ago though :)

Right still got this blasted missfire! MAF Checked and fine, Coilpacks Checked and Fine (Bought USed set but not needed) Injectors checked had bad connection on one, cleaned and sorted! Water Sensor cleaned and fine. No Air leaks (Boost Leak checked and cleared) and Conzult came back Clean (No Probs) Any ideas what else it might be??? Got a Gumball Rally equivalent at the end of August and i really need it sorted before it!!!! Get the random stalls (Foot on Clutch but revs just die anyways) Unpredictable idle (Floats from 500rpm Most of the time to up 1000rpm) So when im clutching around in traffic occasionaly car judders as not even doing 500rpm so i look foolish! Sometimes when pulling from lights car stops accelerating for a moment then comes back to life! ANy help will be appreciated! Many Thanks Munny

as long as its not a disco inside im sure you will be fine! Whole idea is that it distracts other drivers while on the road thus why undercar neons/led not allowed on while driving! I have so Blue footwell leds and my dvd is bright and blue too not had any hassel while driving, although when spot checked for Drink Driving (I Dont drink so XD) they said that any brighter and some officers might have issues! So a few LEDS should be fine :)

Yeah that makes sense!I got a MOMO steering wheel on but its always been fine with the hicas just after the service!Not too fussed as not got a long trip for a few weeks! Would it hurt to take it down an average joe place to get normal ttracking done as i know a guy that owes me a favor so it would be a freee trial :) Or should i wait get the steering wheel taken off wheels alligned then back on?

Well now that you mention is the steering wheel isnt dead on straight! i would say perhaps its 10degrees off! Could explain why is only happens when on motorway as straight line for most of it! Can i just go to average garage for tracking or do i need anythink special i thought i saw a thread a while ago about 4wheel tracking or something! Thanks or your help guys

Not been organised by me but went to last few months and exceptional cars there (Lambo, few ferrari's, AC Cobras, Aston Martins, Caterhams, GT40 + Many more) Located in Shropshire TF11 8UP! Very Easy to find i had no problems using Googlemaps Printout! Format seems to be just Park up and enjoy chatting to others and browsing through other cars no Boy Racer crap goes on, Very Civilised Were 2 of us there last time Myself and EDK83 but he missed most of the cars as crap weather!I was there from 10 and was a lovely array of vehicles! In the 1year of Ownership and 7000miles done this year excluding meets i have only ever seen 2Zeds on the road and one was only last week :) and im around SE and Midlands most of the time! I get well excited when i did see those too my gf found it really funny!

Okidoki chaps this is probably an easy one! Car failed MOT had 2 Bent Hicas arms and worn bushes! When i had these Hicas light would pop on occasionaly usually when i 1st start up the car in the morning! Anyways got these changed and new arms + bushes!So as it should be NO Hicas Wahey! But when i go for long Motorway Journeys it comes on and stays on for the whole journey! Usually takes around 10mins of Motorway driving to come on regardless of how much Town driving iv just been doing! So im thinking ECU is noticing the difference from before and thinks its faulty, should i just reset the ECU?? (d/c battery for 30mins thats it isnt it??) Just fancy some confirmation on this one :) Many thanks Munny
