Hey man I was 19 when i bought my Zed 300 TT Jap Spec! I must warn you the power is insane! i have had mine nearly a Year and the power still gets me! Your 17 man trust me Save your money buy some smaller engine car have a blast enjoy it then move to a more serious car! My 1st car was a 1,8 Turbo Diesel Escort Van! You really dont need a big 3.0 TT and i use mine as an everyday car! 50quid a week on petrol to Work n Uni n home aint cool! 5k Insurance is Mental and save that cash Invest it and when your older (even my age now 20) buy a Zed insurance will be loads less (1500 for me) and youll have experience and i just think not to be rude your really Dreaming!Your Cousins Car sounds like can be alot of trouble and if you buy it insure it and it breaks down will be hard to Repair! Mine was in great nick and already put 1000quid into it with Brake Discs, pads, injectors,cambelt, oil changes! Its an awsome privalige to own one of these i just think you should wait a little longer get on the Road as the experience of driving RWD is completly different world to FWD let alone with 3x the Horses under the bonnet!Also if the worst should happen your 5k TPFT GONE and no Car that would be a huge financial crush and would take years to recover! Save your money and in a few years buy one or as you seem to have cash Invest and buy a Flat! If your after Girls a flat is much better for you than a Car! Trust me on this! Dont want to sound like a Nagger or put you off the idea just my Advice! I searched for 5months for my Zed! Take your time! Dont get too excieted by the 1st Zed you see! i saw 4 before i bought one! Okies Right a different Question here!! Will be entering a 'Rally' which is 1500-2000miles from London to Croatia at the end of the summer! Now normal tank of good ol V power around 60quid ish and will get me 350miles tops! So i was thinking or perhaps a 2nd Fuel tank to place in the boot (Only 2 of us so Bags in back seats and stuff!) Just thinking would an additional Fuel tank be an easy thing to do or would i be best just filling up the tank to the brim??? If anyone has a brief explaination as to what would be done i would be grateful! just a thought after watching the Cannonball 8000! Not going to get a Fighter Jet Fuel Pump like some guy on there :P Many thanks Munny

No Probs matey!

I had similar problem especially with 1st start of the day! I suspected Idle Control Valve! Got some WD40 and Carb Cleaner and shot a load down each throttle body let it sit for 10mins then ran the car abit nasty at first but once it had cleaned it all out no probs for about 7days now :) Hope this helps! Plus Idle now Stable at 750 on Cold Startup too!

YO man sorry i couldnt stick around i was with my mates and we just walked around taking pics of the cars had some food then went straight for the Hangers n museums i realy didnt spend alot of time with my car or looking at the cars! i felt bad for only seing one other guy in the owners club and not getting a chance to speak to you! I have conked out as i parked up to a pump! Was relieved to have made it then just grab the door handle and engine goes! I was like AWESOME!! :) Ran out a few times in Previous cars too! Always Funny!

Man i had a 1.8 Veccy then a TT zed! Its Such an Upgrade! IF you are disspointed i will have to shoot you :P Its a blast! Had mine for 9months now and i still get a huge buzz from the funny pedal under my right foot :P Still find it funny when i thought my 1.8 was quick! you aint felt nothing yet my friend! Enjoy!

make sure you get right colour ie White or normal colour.I had a White bulb n yellow 1 for a while woopsy!

Hey all Idle Control Valve playing up :( Just when cold (1st start up of the day usually) just goes up and down (500-1100) for around 10secs then is fine and no probs afterwards for all of driving! Had the same Prob on a previous car and Shot Carb Cleaner down the Throttle Body which sorted it! I know it depends on the Control Valve but would this work or would it just do nothing?? I heard all about this not good!Although i have gone there for Cam-belt change, Brake Discs, Oil changes and they have been very helpful and as previously stated by someone else good prices! Although unfortunatly not all of us were able to get good service! Not pointing at any young ladies in particular :P I for one would recommend Zedworld matey :)

Any suggestions on the best stuff to use for this as i know its going to be a pain but im just about to buy a used plenum so thought id see whats the recommended kit for polishing it up so its uber nice and shiny :) Thanks Munny

V Power best for mine! I find its smoother and better mpg than even Tesco Super Unleaded!

Hey all, Just put 500quid into my engine (NEw Cambelt Kit, Water Pump, Tensioner, 2 02 Sensors, Oil Change, Auxillery Belts, Alternator) and Thank god its running super smooth now but last 2 Starts on cold when i have started her up the Revs have been jumping from 750 - 1100 just up and down maybe 3/4times before it settles at 750! Now its never done this before im guessing it has something to do with the Cam timing perhaps??? Also another new prob (WAHEY!) is Twice now when coming up to Traffic lights if im in 3rd at 30 i put my foot on the clutch and before i put it into 2nd or Neutral the revs die all the way to like 200rpm so lights dim and it cut out on me (Stall) but my foot was all the way on the clutch! Any ideas?? Perhaps linked to the Above problem?? Its not the greatest problems in the world just as the work was only finished on Monday so new Probs = Headache!! If anyone has any info i would appreciate all your help :) Many thanks Munny

Taking the GF to Paris for 4days and pre-booked a meal on the Top Restaurant on the Effiel Tower! Due to work its on the 15th though not 14th :( But still same celebration ay :)
