i got my stereo from good old Hong Kong and it fits straight in and all the plugs are fine! They even put labels on each plug telling you what it does so its uber easy! Although the Screen bit had to be pushed out a little as it couldn't rotate out without being blocked on the Dash :(

check your Gauge piping for any leaks but i would say as electrical measurements will be more accurate over your Mechanical Gauge so you probably are running 1bar (14psi) but if you have a leak in the gauge piping that could be why its only showing up as 10psi!

What does the Boost gauge go up to? Whats the max?

Seals are seals they are all the same. Yours may have just worn out and thats why oil is seeping through and they are smoking! Decatting will not cause them to Break but they 'may' speed up the process of them breaking (although personally don't see how it can) but with new seals they will still last a hell of a long time so they will be fine. Also make sure you get the 360degree thrust bearing in the kit! If there is still alot of smoke check your PCV valves they will be the culprit although i hope you have done that already!

you will need the inlet sizes of the turbo and off your car and exhuast sizes! if they match or are close enough that you can get them together then they will be fine :)

Ok then i have decided on a location for the Upcoming meet which will be on SUNDAY 9TH AUGUST! I feel due to lack of meets that it would be best to make a big one instead of a series of dissapointing (turnout wise) meets! The Location Toby Carvery Stonebridge Island. Coventry Road Stonebridge Island Meriden GB - Coventry CV7 7HL CLICKY FOR SITE Date will be for preferably a weekend i feel for most people! i am recommending Sunday 9th August to start us off!We will make it an Afternoon meet say around 12am so nobody has to get up at 7am to travel to it :p Meet will last for a few hours and we will all go and have some food in the Pub and people im sure will have a few drinks etc and bring family so don't be shy too! This is nearly 1month away and gives people plenty of time to see the thread and make a decision! I have picked this location as it will hopefully suit alot of people from the region! if you have 1500 best look at something a tad smaller like an MR2 as you can have a better condition one for 1500 than a Zed! As previously stated You get what you pay for!!

Having them rebuilt may cost less than a new set depending on damage!Send them off to someone like TurboTechnics or buy a Rebuild Kit (CLICKY) and do it yourself!Its not overly difficult just tedious! Can result in being far cheaper than New ones! Or Bore the turbos out and put bigger T3 shaft and blades in for a quick for for bigger turbos :)

Running the max is always going to be hard on any engine! Be safe and run around 13psi of boost! Its the Injectors that max out at 14.5psi not the turbos so when your injectors max out and you run more boost they cant supply the fuel and you will be having some major DET! This will eventually make everything go bang! Each to their own really but if your running old cruddy injectors... Dont push them at their max!

having a browse through maps etc i feel Derby might be a good area to meet as its more central than anywhere on the M6! Does anybody know a good place to go in or around Derby??

top up your system with coolant or water to the brim as you may find alot of it has now boiled up and your running a tad low on water! Also Mikey is correct and you should follow his suggestion as well!
