  1. interesting spec, let us know how it goes at the dyno :D and do something with the bumper so that the front mount gets some air at least ;)
  2. keep driving her and keep washing her :)

interested, but have people staying over the night before, so depends how soon we can kick them out :D
  4. is that Russels wide body convertible from Z1? in which case the second shot is probably a dry one and is also cooling the FMIC. Just guessung here though.
  5. double check all your hose clamps around the intercoolers, missed one when I did mine. All was fine until i tried to boost over 10 psi then she would stumble. soon found it though!
  6. no offence, but I think you've made a mistake with the rpm there.. (not doubting the torque though :)) bhp = torque x rpm/5252. which would have put your bhp @ 707bhp at those revs. Bhp is always calculated by the torque figure, that's why on dyno graphs the torque and bhp line cross at 5252rpm (providing torque and bhp are using the same scale on the axis) This applies to both rear wheel and flywheel figures
  7. well done. Still going ahead with breaking her then :(
  8. I's say TPS as well, but since you've not had any engine work done it seems a bit strange. Could also by your IACV, maybe it's dirty/clogged after being at the bodyshop
  9. air. It's the balance bar to equal the air pressure between both sides of the plenum.
  10. when does it stall? when slowing to a stop or pulling away?
  11. doolz is shapes like an x, brings the two intake pipes together (wider than stock) then goes to 2 intakes. Air is balanced due to the join and you can use 1 maf and double the signal to get an acurate reading. JWT is a 90 degree bend on each side to allow 2 filters to be used. If you use 2 MAF's you read all the air so no probs. If you use 1 maf and a dummy, the idle will be rough. this is because the 2 sides of intake aren't balanced (ie don't join) and the IACV unit is only on one side. This means that at idle, both sides are not drawing the same amount of air, and the ECU is getting the measurement slightly wrong when doing 1 MAF x 2. The idle pipe is literally a vacuum pipe plumbed in to join both sides together to balance things out. All of this only applies to the idle, when not idling both sides will be drawing similar amounts of air so no issues. i have the JWT setup with twin MAF's, no problem with idle. Search for dual pop and you should find some of my pictures
  12. JWT dual pop with 1 MAF needs idle stability hose & reprogrammed ECU JWT dual pop with 2 MAF needs Apexi SAFC to add signals together - no need for hose or ECU Doolz needs 1 MAF and 1 dummy MAF and reprogrammed ECU

there are several mods to help decrease the lag, for a real difference try fitting an Underdrive pulley ;) it will surprise you!
  14. I've just put mine next to the intercoolers. I have Greddy IC's and used a spare bolt hole to secure them down.
  15. :nono: :nono: you really shouldn't be boosting till she's warmed up. But, yes does sound like a boost leak, and maybe a dodgy coilpack connector
  16. search button is on the top right :D
  17. have a look for the split rim OZ superleggera III forged alloys. they can be made to suit your size & offset
  18. I have a video of it running low 11's at santa pod
  19. mine was 350 fly, 292 at the wheels. not too bad considering I didn't have my lightened flywheel, UD pulley & cf prop on. Also over fueling after 4400rpm, AFR below 10:1. Dump valves surprised the poor technician though
  20. who got the prizes then?
