  1. turbos should be fine, not sure how long the autobox will last though!
  2. John Dixon has a Cusco clutch LSD as well, maybe worth talking to him.
  3. search man! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=59148&highlight=diff+leader http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=57486&highlight=diff+leader http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=42964&highlight=diff+ratio
  4. you'll need something bigger than the JWT 500's. 500rwhp is a lot and you'll need a load of supporting mods to get that far. I'd spend some time searching twinturbo.net, study dyno graphs and remember that a lot of their peak number dyno's are achieved with race gas so they can wind up the boost and advance the timing more than you could with normal fuel.
  5. not sure about the collars, but nothing wrong with Sard products. I have them myself as part of the border kit :)
  6. Why do you want them? To start there are only 4 of them... stick with Nismo 555s unless you really need bigger, then go with either 740 or the Border 850 set. FYI the border set does use SARD injectors. Don't forget you'll need to get your ECU reprogrammed too.
  7. cool, short-shifter will be harder as you have less leverage, but you soon get used to it. Getting the det-sensor fixed will make a big difference to performance as you're timing is being retarted as well as having less boost
  8. he changed them since then mate, don't worry!
  9. you'll also need bigger brakes so you can stop uprated suspension to cope with the power a good clutch (and flywheel while you're there) or an uprated autobox high performance tires if you want any hope of putting the power down!
  10. are you around over xmas mate, might be able to catch up then?
  11. I thought Greg's car was using plain JWT 700's with the 0.80AR? The first real dyno results I've seen with the 0.64 AR are from Dee Ridgeway (Slowninja on tt.net). Very impressive too
  12. Where are you planning on using the power? That should dictate what kind of turbos and supporting mods you go for. If you like driving on backroads you want a setup with minimal lag & lots of torque - peak hp should not concern you, but for drag racing, the bigger the better! :D
  13. all the best mate, getting there slowly
  14. well done mate :) don't see what the fuss is about myself!
  15. R34 calipers, R34 caliper bolts, 14mm drill bit, R34/33 disks. might have to cut the dust shield too, but mine were ok
  16. don't think so mate, just leave the heavy thing at home and get a can of tire foam ;) ;) (and join the AA/RAC/etc)
  17. well our guests have only just left so everyone would have finished sunday lunch by the time we get there. Next time though.
  18. I've had the same size plates on mine for 2 years without any problems.
  19. that is a gorgeous colour!!
  20. never nice when that happens. Even with a new filter you need to work out why it's getting wet. Recently had mine do this after removing the front bumper for some work. It didn't go on quite the same so water was getting past the nose panel - first time in 2 years! Fixed it with a little splash shield under the nose panel, HTH.
  21. hello mate :D have a quick look at the cars for sale - 2 Wide arch black SWB's for sale....
