  1. have a look at the dyno thread to see what people have achieved on what setups
  2. ok, 650 at the wheels is a lot, but if you focus on early spool and decent power band it's perfectly fine on the road. Try getting passenger rides with people at various levels / turbo setups to get a feel for what you want. Some people love big turbo nothing then everything delivery for instance, others hate it.
  3. it's more about the power delivery, a spiky car is miserable to drive on the road. If you have a responsive car and broad power band, then it's fine. This also helps in terms of traction. You should get full traction in 3rd at least. 2nd gear with decent tires :) I was happy driving mine on the road, the only danger is speed limits and how slow all the other cars are going in comparison. - - - Updated - - - You need to think about what your aims are? Doing for the hell of it? Track? Drag?
  4. Should have bid higher then! (wasn't me)
  5. are you sure that intake setup is going to fit? I bet it's tight between the chassis rails
  6. good work, it's shocking how much the diff weighs isn't it! wait till you're on your back trying to line the bloody thing up!
  7. off subject a bit, but why not get it from the original source rather than try to save what is a relatively small amount of cash? Better fitment and more importantly, support the people who develop items for the platform so they can produce other things.
  8. you going to run AMS stickers with the amount of AMS stuff you're buying? :)
  9. and will need locating further back after the flow combines as a result
  10. get your tracking checked and have a really good look at the lower suspension arms ...
  11. yes, Noel / Turbonoz for a tune. I would say pop over to PowerZed in avonmouth for a healthcheck first :)
  12. after, and remove the splitter/bumper extension
  13. lol, that's a US product shipped to AUS price ;)
  14. More like $1850 with piping, which is not much more than ash spec ic & 2.5" piping
  15. Define this way? It'll run fine with fmic where you're suggesting, still need a tune for max attack.
  16. Sounds good, welcome to give me a shout if you want to bounce ideas around
  17. I'm quoting a conversation I had with Greg @SZ, agreed on no 90deg bends, but piping length is similar
  18. That's the same IC I have, but the 4.5" deep one. It's the only way to do a FMIC properly, though no benefit over the ASHspec SMIC. I only switched to it so I can mount directly in front of the engine
  19. The Hks style have better tank design for less pressure drop, but don't like the extra piping length needed.
  20. gt600rs ? gt600r is not the RS the 675 / gt28RS / jwt700 is a good turbo with the 0.64 A/R. This is what Gibster was selling
  21. Fabwork and you need it bigger than 3", should be 4" at least
  22. Only differences are between na & tt
  23. And the adventures in home made carbon fibre begin!
